Haven't you done this thread before?
Honestly, I think it should have ended around the time Mr. Bentley returned to the show (was that season 10?) We had already gotten used to the show without him, and I think him returning was the final jump-the-shark moment.
It couldn't have gone any longer. The Jeffersons was jumping in the age of family telelvision. During it's final season, we saw shows like Who's the Boss?, Growing Pains and The Cosby Show hit the airwaves, and other family shows like Family Ties were coming back. Also one of the reasons Three's Company ended it when it did. If The Jeffersons lasted any longer, it would have probably been out of the top 100, just my opinion.

They should have wrapped up the series in 1983. You could tell they were running out of ideas in the last two sesasons. I still standby my point that I said here years ago that Lionnel and Jenny should have been given their own spinoff not Florence. The spinoff should have started in 1982 and probably would have lasted until 1990.

It should have only went on for about seven years. In the end, I really began to dislike Louise because she turned into a controlling snob.
