I am going to come up with some stories of Designing Women that occurred between the fifth and sixth seasons. I am thinking of 5 or six stories culminating in Suzanne's departure and Carlene's arrival.

Ooh, sounds interesting. Don't forget to include Allison! :) I'd love to do a DW fic someday, but I can't think what to write about. LOL (Ditto for Wings.) If anybody has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Allison will be mentioned, but won't be brought in. I think that I am actually going to weave her dad into a couple of episodes, Uncle Frank as he is called by Julia.

Some of my ideas are:
Julia has a hard time letting go of Randa Oliver after picking up the pieces of Reese's death.

Bernice does some home hopping after her bordoem at the retirement home, which initially drives Julia up the wall. A bet is made that whoever puts up with Bernice the least, that person has to put up Bernice for future visits.

Suzanne is bored with Atlanta, that she starts thinking of moving to Japan to live with her mother. Meanwhile, their uncle Frank is trying to groom daughter Allison for a job in the decorating business.

Suzanne meets up with the emperor Hirohito's nephew while he is in Atlanta, which prompts her decision for Japan. Meanwhile, Charlene's little sister moves to Atlanta.

While Julia is having a difficult time saying goodbye to Suzanne, Uncle Frank is foaming at the bit to get Allison into the business. Meanwhile, Bernice gets herself lost in the Atlanta airport while saying goodbye to Suzanne.
