Last night I watched the Ressurection Mary episode on disc 1 and occasionally the sound sounds like there is a lot of static or the speaker is going bad.At times it was getting so loud it was hard to hear the narration.I don't remember it sounding like this last year when I watched it.Has anyone else noticed this when watching that episode?I'm hoping my disc isn't going bad on me.

I didn't happen to have any problems with any of the First Look dvd's. Perhaps its the dvd player, how long have you had it?

I haven't noticed any other problems with other dvds and I don't think I had a problem with this one last year.At least it hasn't froze up yet.I've read the stories online about dvdrot that affects a small number of disc and in some cases the dvds become unplayable.I have a Toshiba by the way.It's about 6 years old.Another possibility I'm considering is the disc may need cleaning but I don't want to take a chance on scratching the disc by cleaning it.
