I know they have VCR's on the DVD players/recorders. But by themselves, I am not sure.

I've seen a few plain VCR's up at K-Mart but most are DVD/VCR combos. I need to get me another one. lol

I bought a new VCR from Best Buy not too long ago. Damn thing was still $60 too! But it was a Panasonic.

They still make blank tapes. They just don't put movies on VHS anymore.

there is a shop called argos in the UK and in its catalogue, they still stock VCRs last time i checked. these days they cost in the region of say £30 and in HMV a music and film retial chain, they still sell videos

Discount stores like Big Lots have the vcr's pretty cheap too, they're usually off brands though. But sometimes you'll run across a name brand vcr.
