Something I just noticed about the final episode: Both Frasier and Niles have MDs, yet they allow the veterinarian (Jason Biggs) take charge when Daphne goes into labor in his office. A little strange, I think. :lol:

Well animals or not, the young veterinarian actually dealt with some kind of birth. I don't think Frasier or Niles would have known the first thing to do if they were alone with Daphne going through labor.

I thought the final episode was fitting. I liked Martin finally getting married, Daphne and Niles having the baby, and of course Frasier moving to another city. My favorite scenes were when the guy came to take Martin's chair out, and when they're all in the apartment together for one last time, saying goodbye to Frasier. Roz crying gets me every time.

As the case with Cheers, i dont like the ending......Sam should have gone with Diane and Frasier should have stayed with Roz :mad:

I don't know about Frasier and Roz. I do like how they ended the series though, with Frasier supposedly moving to another city.

A psychiatrist has a MD but he's not necessarily able to handle a birth, kwim? I recall an episode where Niles, Frazier, and Martin were stuck in a cab or somewhere witha woman in labor, and the two guys were trying to "psyche" her out of pain, which annoyed her. So she asked them what they did, Frazier says "I'm a psychiatrist." Niles says "I'm also a psychiatrist" and Martin says "I'm a retired cop!" and the woman says "Oh thank God!!"

i think if Frasier had stayed with Roz it maybe would have been too traditional a happy ending, although Frasier's final romance did feel a bit rushed too i thought. Still loved the ending though, very difficult thing to even satisfactorily end a show as brilliant as that :)
