Ok, I havent writen a FOL fanfic in a while....so i mite be a little rusty..but I hope u like it.

The Bonner family lived in a trailer, that was in a trailer park in a suburb of Brooklyn. Actually 14 year old Jamie and her mother, Jo, do. Rick was usually off in another state or country doing a concert. He was gone for months at a time, but Jo was ok with that. However, Jamie resented her father for leaving them alone all the time.

"Ma!!" Jamie yelled from the kitchen, which was actually a kitchen and living room combined.
"What!" Jo yelled back from her bed room.
"We have no milk!" Jamie yelled again, as she continued to looked inside the fridge.
"What do you want me to do about it?" Jo anwered as she walked into the room. "I'm a low payed social worker" Jamie just looked at her mother.
"Well we still need milk!" Jamie told Jo, as she walked over and sat on the couch. Jo put her hand in her pocket, and searched around for money.
"well...here" She said, as she walked over to Jamie. "Here's 3 bucks, go to the store and buy milk" Jamie looked at her mother like she was crazy.
"Ma, the store is a mile away and my dirt bike is busted" Jamie complained.
"Oh no" Jo answered sarcastically. "I guess you'll have to walk" Jamie just gave her mother the "Jo look" and got up. She took the money and went outside. But just as she started walking off her porch, she bumped into someone.
"Hey!" Jamie said, not looking to see who it was. Her friends often came around, so she figured it was one of them.
"Don't talk to me like that!" Rick joked, as Jamied quickly looked up.
"Dad!" She yelled as she hugged her father. She may have resented him for leaving them alone, but she still loved him a lot.
"Hey, I got you something!" Rick teased, as Jamie let go of him. He put his suitcase down, knelt so he could reach it, and opened it. Jamie waited unpaciently. Her father always brought her awsome stuff from the countries and towns he went to. "Here you go" He said finally as he handed Jamie a Harley Davidson sweat shirt.
"Awsome" She exclaimed, as she knelt down and hugged her father.
"Where's your mother?" Rick finally asked. Jamie could tell he was anxious to see her.
"Inside..." Jamie said, as she smiled, and left. Rick smiled, and got up. HE slowly walked to the door, hoping his wife wouldn't see him. He quietly opened the door, and shut it. He walked over to the couch, and waited for his wife to come into the room. Finally she did, but didn't notice him. She walked by him, and then stopped.
"Rick?" She questioned, as she slowly turned around.
"you better believe it!" He answered, as he got up and ran to his wife. They shared a long and passionite kiss, and then a long hug.
"I missed you so much!" Jo yelled, as the two stared each other in the eyes.
"I missed you too" Rick said, looking at his wife.
"Oh, you just missed Jamie!" Jo told Rick "She'll be soo happy to see you"
"Actually I didn't" Rick answered, as he smiled. "I saw her on her way out"
"Oh..." Jo said, as a smile came across her face. "She went to the store...and she walked, and it will at least take her a......" Before Jo could finish, Rick started to kiss her and lead her into the bedroom....

ok, that was extreamly lame, but i will try and make it better.

A couple days later, something was up with Jo. She couldn't stop smiling, anf Jamie noticed it.
"Ma, there something wrong with your mouth?" Jamie asked. Jo just gave her a look, but didn't stop smiling.
"No, why do you ask?" Jo questioned, as she started to wipe off the counter.
"Because you look like a toothe paste add or something." Jamie commented, trying not to smile like her mother.
"Funny" Jo laughed, and continued to clean the counters.
"You know what, I don't care what it is...I've gpt better things to worry about?" Jamie told Jo, as she got up and headed for the door of their trailer.
"Oh really? Like what?" Jo answered with her wonderful sarcasim.
"Like where to get a spark plug for my dirt bike!" Jamie said, as she smiled, and then went outside. Jo laughed and shook her head. A couple of minutes later, Rick came in.
"I got a gig for NYC!" He yelled, as Jo ran over to him and hugged him.
"Thats great! I have some news too..." Jo answered happily.
"Really, what?" Rick asked, very anxious to know. Not wanting anyone to hear, since their neighbors were close, Jo wispered something in Ricks ear. His big smile quickly fadded. There was something no one, not even Jo, knew about Rick. "Uh, thats great.." He answered, not so excitied.
"Why don't you seem happy?" Jo questioned, as the two went over and sat on the couch.
"Huh, oh, I am happy, I'm just tired. I'm going to bed" He said, getting up and walking towards the bed room.
"Do you want some company?" Jo asked, as she walked over to him and put her hand on his chest. Rick took Jo's hand, and put it by her side.
"Uh, no, I'm tired" He told her, as her smile fadded, and he walked into the bed room. There was something bothering him, and Jo didn't think it was the news he told her. She thought he would be excitied. O well. Jo figured it was something that happened, and went on cleaning the counters......

ok, bad, i know....i will try to make it better

This story is getting interesting. I think I know what Jo told Rick. I'm going to keep reading to find out if I'm right.

The next morning Jo rolled over to hug Rick, but all she got was air. She sat up, confused, and started to look around.
"Rick?" She called into the other room, but no one answered. It was only 8, Rick didn't usually get up til 10. Figuring he just went to the store or something, Jo got up and went into the kitchen. But as she went to open the fridge, she noticed a folded note that said Jo on it. Jo just looked at it for a second. She took it off the fridge and hoped it was the reason Rick was gone. She slowly read it and almost fainted.

Dear Jo,
I'm sorry, I couldn't take it anymore...i needed to leave. I'll keep in touch. I love you, and tell Jamie I love her. Bye Jo

Thats what the note said. Slowly tears started to fall from Jo's face. They weren't so much for her, but for Jamie. She remembered how bad she got when her father left, and even though Jamie was pretty bad already, she knew it would get worse....

ok, sorry i cant write more but i'm too tired! I'll write more tomorrow!

I just started reading this and I am totally and completely hooked! I think I know what Jo told him and I think I know Rick's secret, but I'll have to stay tuned! (I've been saying that a lot today, what's my problem? lol) So, post more soon!

About 2 hours later, Jamie got up and walked into the living room. She was still have asleep, so she didn't even notice her mother crying on the couch.
"We actually have Milk!" Jamie yelled happily. Jo wipped her tears away and got up.
"Thats...great hunny" she answered sadly. She got up and walked over to Jamie. After about a second of staring at her, she grabbed her and hugged her as hard as she could.
"Ma.." Jamie gasped. But Jo wasn't paying attention. "I need to breathe..." She continued, still trying got get air. Jo finally let go of her and sat at the small kitchen table. "There somehting botherin you?" Jamie asked, following her mother.
"Huh? Oh, no" Jo said sadly. Of course, Jamie didn't buy it, and sat across from her mother.
"Ma, what's wrong?" Jamie asked...knowing something was up. Jo paused for a second. She knew she had to tell Jamie, but didn't know how. She also was affraid of what Jamie would do. She was just like Jo was, when ever something happened, Jamie lost her temper, and then ran away. But unlike Jo, she always left a note for her mother, telling her it wasn't her fault. "Hello?" Jamie said, waving her hand infront of her mothers face. "Whats up?"
"It's your father..." Jo started. "He's gone..." Jo just looked at Jamie and waited for a response. But she didn't look upset.
"And he didn't even say good-bye" Jamie answered, jokingly. Jo just stared at her daughter confused.
"What?" She finally managed to say, while shaking her head in confusion.
"Dad always says good-bye before he leaves for a show" Jamie answered, obviously not knowing what Jo meant.
"No Jamie, he left us." Jo corrected, as she handed Jamie the note. Jamie grew mad, and Jo could tell. She ripped the note, and headed for the door. "Jamie, please, where are you going?" Jo asked nervously, as she got up and followed her daughter.
"To get dad!" She ansered, as she grabbed her leather jacket, slammed the door in Jo's face, and took off on her dirt bike.....

i hafta add to my other fanfic, but i'll add more to this later.

Tears started to fall down Jo's face again. Now both her father and daughter were gone, and she didn't know where...

Jamie had no idea where she was going. She just kept driving and driving until she saw a sign with a familar name. 'Peekskile' (sp, sorry i'm really tired) Jamie thought to herself. 'Some one there has to know who my dad is and how to find him' she kept thinking. She stopped at the nearest phone booth to look in the phone book.
"Garret, Garret..." Jamie said to herself as she looked through the book. "Ha! here it is..." She said, as she ripped out the page, and headed towards the address. About 10 minutes later she finally found it. She slowly parked her bike infront of the house, put her helmet on the seat, and walked to the door. "So this is it.." Jamie said, looking at the house. "I wonder how mad moms gonna be?" Jamie continued to stall. She didn't want to meet Blair, Natalie, or Tootie. She felt like she knew them already. But she wasn't doing it for her, it was for her mother. She finally decided to knock at the door.

Inside, Mrs. G was walking into the living room when she heard the knock. I wonder who that could be. She started to walk towards the door, when she heard someone come running down the stairs.
"Mrs. Garret, I'll get it! It's probably for me..." yelled a 15 year old blonde. She slowly walked over to the door and flipped her hair. "Hello.." She said, not even looking at who it was.
"Your not a Mrs.G" Jamie told herself outloud, as the girl quickly looked at her.
"Who are you?" She asked, looking a Jamie like she were from another planet. Jamie just ignored her and walked in the house. Mrs.G walked over to great her.
"Hi, can I help you?" she asked, looking at Jamie. Jamie just gave her the "Jo look", and she almost fainted.
"You ok?" Jamie asked, as the red haired women looked at her surprised.
"Your, you hafta be, are you related to...." Mrs. Garret couldn't even say it. She was soo shocked.
"If your talking about Jo, ya. She's my mother" Jamie answered, not wanted Mrs. Garret to die trying to say it.
"You, are Jo's daughter?" The blonde asked, with Blairs additude.
"Ya, farra, got a problem with that" Jamie answered, as she looked meanly at the girl, and folded her arms. Just then an even taller and older blonde came in. "Oh no, another one" Jamie said quietly to herself. But Mrs.G heard and laughed a little.
"I swear I just heard Jo in here" Blair said, without looking. Mrs. G cleared her throat, so Blair would look. Blair's smile faded when she saw Jamie. Jamie just lifted her eyebrow and stared at Blair. "Oh...My...God.." Blair finally managed to say. "I dont believe it...it's a mini Jo..."
"I don't believe it, it's another princess Die..." Jamie imataded her mothers friend. Blair laughed, seeing Jo in Jamie.
"Where's Jo?" Blair asked excitedly. Her whole face lit up when she said it, and Jamie was glad to tell her the bad news.
"She aint here. She don't even know i'm here" Jamie told them, as Blairs smile faded.
"Why are you here?" Mrs. G asked, now a little confused.
"I'm here about my dad...." Jamie said, as all four of them headed for the couch.
"Rick? Is he your father?" Blair asked. Jamie nodded madly.
"See...for some reason, he just took off...just like my Papa did to my mother." Jamie explained. Just then there was a crying sound from upstairs. Natalie came running down in a panic.
"I can't find it!" She yelled, as she held her hand to her head.
"Natalie, whats wrong?" Blair asked, as her and Mrs Garret stood up.
"I cant find his shoe..." She answered, as Mrs. G and Blair just looked at each other. Natalie sighed, and walked over to the couch. After about a second, the crying stopped and Natalie sighed. She looked down, and caught a quick climpse of Jamie, and then turned around.........

ok, i really got to go to bed, hope you like it!

"Great..." Jamie answered, not really caring.
"Anyway, I have to find my son's shoe, talk to you later..." Nat said as she laughed and walked up the stairs.
"So, tell us more about why your here..." Blair suggested.
"Ok, anyway, this morning he was just gone...he left my mother a note but that was it..." Jamie continued.
"So, why are you here?" Jackie asked annoyed.
"Because I wanted a manacure!" Jamie answered sarcasticaly. Jackie just looked at Jamie madly. "Cuz' I need help finding him...." Jamie continued seriously, as Blair, Mrs. G, and Jackie looked at each other...

"Well, how can we help?" Mrs. G asked, a little confused. "I've never even met him.."
"And I havent seen Rick for 15 years.." Blair added.
"Ya, and I dont even know what your talking about.." Jackie said, as she laughed a little. But Jamie just gave her a look and she shut up.
"I know, but you guys knew my mother and maybe he's one of the places she went?" Jamie continued. "That reminds me, I should call my mother.." Jamie got up and looked around for a second...
"It's right here.." Blair said, as she picked up the phone and showed it to Jamie. Jamie smiled and walked over to it. "But PLEASE let me call her..." Blair begged. Jamie just rolled her eyes and dialed the number. Blair smiled, and put the phone to her ear. "Hello...Jo.." She talked into the phone as she smiled.
"Ya, why do you sound familar.." Jo answered.
"Because its me, Blair!" Blair continued happily.
"Really? Blair?" Jo questioned. "Hey, how ya doin'!" Jo quickly went from sad to happy.
"I'm very good...but I hear your not.." Blair said as her smile faded.
"Wow, good news travels fast. How'd you here that?" Jo asked, going back to sad.
"Jamie told me!" Blair answered, looking at Jamie.
"Jamie? You mean my daughter Jamie!?!" Jo yelled happily. "Thank god, is she there? Let me talk to her.." Jo ordered, as Blair handed the phone to Jamie.
"Uh, Hey ma.." Jamie started, knowing her mother was going to be mad.
"Where do you get off leaving me here!" Jo yelled, as Jamie held the phone away from her ear.
"Yep, thats our Jo.." Blair whispered to Mrs.G.
"And why the hell are you with Blair?" Jo continued.
"Well, I figured that she knew Dad, and might know a place to find him..." Jamie answered. Jo just sighed.
"Put Blair back on!" Jo yelled again, as Jamie quickly handed Blair the phone.
"Hello again..." Blair said happily.
"Blair, I'm coming there!" Jo told her "I'll be there in a while!" Jo hung up the phone, and Blair just stood in confusion. Jamie, Jackie, and Mrs.G watched as Blair hung up the phone and smiled.
"Well.." Jamie asked, as she threw her hands in the air.
"Jo is coming here!" Blair answered, as she ran to the stairs. "Nat! Guess what? Jo's coming!! Jo's coming here!!" Blair yelled up the stairs as she smiled. Jackie was a little scared...she had never seen her mother soo happy over Jo...

well I made a promise and I'm gonna keep it! So here is some more!

"Thats great.." Nat yelled back down, not really caring at the moment. But it didn't matter to Blair, her best friend was actually coming! Blair smiled and turned around to look at the two younger girls.
"So, Jamie, I didn't catch your age.." Blair walked closer to the girls and looked down at them.
"Probably cuz I didn't throw it!" Jamie answered, with a little smile starting to show.
"I see you got at least a little of your fathers sense of humor..." Blair laughed. But Jamie didn't think it was so funny, and her small smile quicly faded into a stern look.
"She also got her mothers stubornness" Mrs.G Garret whispered to Blair as she headed for the kitchen. "Since Jo is coming and I havent seen her in so long, I'll cook up a special dinner!" The old women smiled and walked into the kitchen. Just then there was a knock at the door.
"She couldn't get here that fast!" Jamie thought outload, as her, Jackie, and Blair walked slowly to the door. But Blair could not longer resist and opened the door with a big smile. However instead of seeing Jo, a black women came in with two young children, one being hers, one being Nat's.
"Wow Blair, I didn't know you missed me that much!" Joked the women, obviously noticing Blairs excitment.
"No, I dont care about you, I thought you were Jo!" Blair quickly snapped. Tootie just raised her eyebrow and shut the door. Then she turned back to Blair in a bit of shock.
"You mean, Jo? Our Jo? The tomboy Jo? The Jo of all the Jo's? The..." Tooties over excitment was interupted by Jamies anger.
"Yes, Yes, that Jo!" She snapped, walking over to Tootie and looking her straight in the face.
"My God, Blair, Jo's right here!" Tootie gasped, and almost fell back in shock.
"No, Tootie, this is Jamie, Jo's daughter..." Jackie corrected, with her mothers additude. Tootie took a deep breath and stuided Jamie.
"Oh my God, does Natalie know she's here?" Tootie finally managed to say. However, her big brown eyes never left Jamie. But before anyone could say anything, there was another knock at the door.
"Mom, theres someone at the door" A 6 year old girl walked over to Tootie, and tugged her shirt.
"I know, I know..." Tootie backed away from the door, along with everyone else. Just then Nat came downstairs with her son in her hand, and Mrs.G came in from the kitchen. There was another knock at the door, and Blair rushed to open it....but it wasn't Jo.....

Beverly Ann stood at the door for a second, and then came in, dragging Rick in by his ear.
"Och! Please let go, Bev" Rick's ear was red, and everyone could tell he was in pain.
"Fine! But you are gonna call Jo and...." Bev started, but paused when she noticed a girl walking towards Rick.
"Dad!" Jamie yelled, not sounding happy, sad, or mad!
"Jamie? What the hell are you doing here?" Rick answered, his face turning pale from fright of what was gonna go down.
"Looking for you, you selfish, no good, dimwit!" Jamie looked sterly at her father, who was surprised at the language she used. So wasn't everyone else.
"Thats it? Not yelling, screaming, or swearing?" Blair asked, walking towards her friends husband.
"Hey! I was being as polite as I could with the younga ones in the room!" Jamie answered, moving her hands, showing everyone she was talking about Nat and Tootie's little ones. Nat and Tootie smiled in thanks, but then turned their attention to Blair, who was circling Rick in disapointment.
"Ok, I get the picture" Rick kept his eyes on Blair "But could ya please stop, your making me dizzy!" Rick shook his head, and Blair stopped in front of him.
"I don't believe you would do something so mean to Jo? Don't you love her?" Blair asked in a mean tone, knowing she was looking good infront of her friends.
"Of course I do! I love her more then life itself, but she's ....." Just as Rick was about to finish, there was a third, and hopefully final knock at the door.
"Well, dad, I think thats Hell calling you!" Jamie smirked, as she walked over to the front door and opened it! And sure enough, a red faced, pissed off Jo came walking in!
"Jo!" Her friends yelled at once, running over to hug and great her. The sound of her friends made Jo feel a little better, and she let out a little smile. However, she didn't know Rick was there, and didn't know he was watching her. That is, of course, until he walked over to her. Her friends backed away, and Jo stood up tall, staring meanly at the man she loved.
"Jo..." Rick started to talk, but stopped. He couldn't bring hisself to tell Jo why he ran away. He was scared she would think less of him, and leave him.....

ok, thats all I can do for now, but I'll write more later! Hope you like it!

Sorry I havent written any lately, but here is some now.

Jo slowly walked over to Rick and looked into his eyes.
"Why Rick? Was it something I said? Something I did? What?" Rick looked at the floor, to ashamed to look at his wife, who was waiting for the answeres.
"Because....of the baby..." Everyone looked at eachother in confusion, especially Jamie.
"The wha...?" Jamie was getting nervous now too.
"Are you saying you left because I was pregnant?" Jo was surprised. Rick always used to love kids...but she also noticed that after "the accident" He had changed.
"Well yes. I was just afriad because of what happened before..." Again everyone looked at each other in confusion.
"Ok, we havent seen you guys for a while, so your gonna Have to Fill us in..." Nat spoke up, knowing everyone wanted to, but couldn't. Jo and Rick looked at each other, to depressed to talk, so Jamie desided to speak up.
"About 4 years ago, my mother got pregnant." Jamie didn't want to continue, but knew that she had no choice. "The whole pregnancy was good, and there was nothing wrong. But while my mother was in labor, they realized that the baby had no liver....it had been living off my mothers until then. It was too late to do anything about it then, so it died. My parents call it "the accident" But I think it was just bad luck." A tear slowly fell down Ricks face and onto Jo, who when she felt it, looked up. Everyone else was shocked.
"I...I...don't know what to say" Blair walked over slowly, and put her hand on jo's shoulder. She expected Jo to push it away, but instead she put her own hand on Blairs.
"It was just too painful an experience to think about going through it again." Rick looked down at his wife, who now had her other hand on his arm.
"Rick, honey, the doctor said there is a one in a million chance of that happening again to anyone as healthy as I am. I was scared to when I first found out, but then remembered how happy Jamie made me feel when I held her in my arms." Jo smiled at her daughter, who was sitting on the arm of the couch. After getting a smile back, Jo walked over and hugged her husband. "It's gonna be ok...think about how happy we'll be..." Rick lifted his wife's chin up with his finger and kissed her. When he was done, he looked down at her and smiled. "So, whatta ya say? Can we keep it?"

ok, i'm tired and need to go to bed. I promise i'll finish it tomorrow! I know it sucks but i'll make it better!
