No offense to anyone. But, I think Mearth was somewhat bratty. For one the way he treated Mindy, calling her a shoe.

Mearth was only a newborn when he called Mindy that! That's not being bratty he did understand yet.

The show definitely was on it's last legs when they brought in Mearth. It was kinda creepy, but still fun to watch him play against Robin Williams. If you watch closely enough you can tell when they'd have to take more takes than one because they cracked each other up. They would start ad-libbing scenes a lot.

I agree. The last season was the worst out of all them, but seeing Robin and Jonathan play off each other like that made the final season more watchable.

After watching season 4 episodes as an adult, I can't help but feel weirded out now by that season. I don't think having Mork and Mindy get married was a good idea. The previous seasons Mindy had always been a mother figure to Mork, and have always been just friends despite numerous subtle romantic undertones. Then all of a sudden out of the blue they're getting married and have a kid. Just having them married totally ruined the magic between the two characters.

They always say that marriage is the kiss of death to a sitcom.
