Don't get me wrong I LOOOOOVE the Golden Girls. When I was in High School it was all this overweight gay boy had to look forward to on Friday nights. I'm not overweight anymore but it's still fun to curl up on the couch and watch my old freinds any night of the week. I've seen every episode 100's of times so I recognize all the inconsistences and wonder if the writers recognized them as well or did they just not care. For instance in the first season in a episode entitled "Rose The Prude" Rose agrees to go on a double date with Blanche and ends up dating the guy named Arnie, who in later episodes plays her boyfreind Miles. Arnie asks Rose to go on a cruise with him and she finally agrees but is concerned because she hasn't had sex with a man since her husband Charlie died 15 years earlier. Of course she enventually has sex with him and all is well. The thing is in a later episode, (I'm not sure the title) but it had to have been the first season, possilby the second because it's where Rose admits to the girls how Charlie had a heart attack and died while making love. She is dating this guy who I believe asks her to go on a cruise with him and she's afraid to go because she thinks if she has sex with him she will kill him. Of course she has sex with him and jokes with the girls on her return that she killed him.
