Does anybody remember The Home Show that used to air on ABC TV my Local ABC Affiliate at the time WVUE TV Channel 8 Cancelled The Home Show because it did not Pull up The Ratings for WVUE TV Channel 8.

I used to watch that show when I could. I loved it. It seemed like it was on for a long time. I also remember when co-host Sarah Purcell was accidently pricked with a needle that had already been used by someone else. There was a doctor demonstrating something and he had already used the needle and inadvertently used it again on Sarah. This was at the height of the whole HIV/AIDS scare.

I wish that WVUE TV Channel 8 would have gave The Home Show a Chance but they did not WVUE TV Channel 8 aired The 700 Club at 10:00 am Central Time

Ok, this is what I found:

In 1993 during a segment of The Home Show about influenza vaccines, a physician mistakenly gave Sarah Purcell an injection with the same needle used on cohost Gary Collins. Collins left during the show to undergo blood tests to determine his HIV and hepatitis status, which turned out to be negative.

thanks I sure wish that a station would pick up the reruns Right's To The Home Show or come out on DVD.
