Comedians including Ray Romano, Martin Short and Jeff Garlin will pay tribute to late actor Peter Boyle at a fundraising event next month. Boyle, who played Romano's father in TV show Everybody Loves Raymond, died in 2006 after a battle with bone marrow cancer.

"Celebrating Peter Boyle: An Evening Of Comedy With Family And Friends" takes place at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre & Club in Los Angeles on November 10 and will also feature funnymen Fred Willard and Richard Lewis.

All proceeds from the event will go to the International Myelome Foundation's Peter Boyle Memorial Fund.

What a great thing to do. :cool: The timing is great, too, seeing as it is right near Halloween and Mr. Boyle played Frankenstein's Monster. Who could "sing" Puttin' On The Ritz like he did?? :rofl:

I loved Peter Boyle! I never liked "Raymond" at all, but I loved him in "While You Were Sleeping" and in "Young Frankenstein". Classic performances!
