If you could have been best friends with one of the characters, who would you have picked?

Samantha - hands down. I love her loyalty and her willingness to help. :D

I'd also love to have Endora on my side - if she liked you, she'd have your back. Aunt Clara is also a good choice - she was so sweet. You could tell her your troubles and she could give you a big hug. As long as she didn't try to fix your problem, everything would be OK.

Sam hands down, with Aunt Clara close second place.

OH Nuts!

Endora & Maurice. Sam too. Defintely NOT Uncle Arthur. And as far far away from Gladys Kravitz as possible. (Someone should have turned Gladys into a pillar of salt or a scarecrow)

The first Mrs. Kravitz wasn't too bad...I totally agree with you about Mrs. Kravitz the second. She was impossible to like.

I should have been clear that I meant the Sandra Gould Gladys. The first Gladys was puzzled and confused by the goings on at the Stephens, but she wasn't nosy and malicious like Gladys #2, who was a real #2!

^ I knew who you meant, Rich. It's just so sad that Alice Pearce was ill and then passed...what a strong and courageous woman she was!! I found myself choked up reading this excellent article about her:

It's also sad that she didn't live to accept her Emmy. It would've been so nice had she lived to play Gladys the entire series.
