View Full Version : For the Love of Johnny Johnson
Madame X 10-23-2007, 06:43 PM Has anyone out there had the experience Laura did in regards to Johnny Johnson?: Little sister in love with a boy who is in love with older sister.
What a triangle, even though Mary wanted no part of it!
Ireneparalegal 10-23-2007, 08:30 PM Never. But, I did fall for my cousin's boyfriend, who ended up dumping her and becoming my boyfriend.
catlover79 10-23-2007, 08:50 PM Not me, because I'm the big sister. Thank goodness, my sister and I have never liked the same guy!!
Ireneparalegal 10-23-2007, 09:11 PM Johnny Johnson was one fugly dude.

I thought so too, although Mitch Vogel was popular with young girls at that time, for some reason I don't understand.
He also appeared as one of Helen Beardsley's (Lucille Ball's) sons on "Yours, Mine and Ours," and on "Bonanza" as Ben Cartwright's adopted son late in the series. I guess that's where he met Michael Landon.
catlover79 10-23-2007, 10:00 PM Not only was Mitch Vogel one of Lucy's sons in YM&O, so was Eric Shea from Poseidon Adventure. HE also guested on LHOP.

Good catch! Eric Shea was the youngest Beardsley and he played Jason on LHOP.
It is interesting that Mitch Vogel and Eric Shea both were involved in love triangles on LHOP. Laura liked Johnny Johnson, but he liked Mary. Nellie liked Jason, but he liked Laura.
Addition: They were both on Adam-12, Gunsmoke and various Disney productions. Eric played Tommy on the Brady Bunch, and Mitch played Tommy on YM&O.
Mitch is four years older than Eric.
catlover79 10-23-2007, 10:57 PM Eric Shea was also in the episode Bunny aka Nellie in the wheelchair. Another movie I saw him in was 1974's Castaway Cowboy. That's a Disney production starring James Garner, Vera Miles and Robert Culp. My man Gregory Sierra (:eyes: ) co-starred as Robert Culp's henchman. It's on DVD, and is a lot of fun, so I recommend it to my SO friends!! :D

He also made a guest appearance on "Wonder Woman" as a musician. He's
a little hard to recognize-different hair, also a mustache.

Somehow I can't picture him with a mustache.
