View Full Version : Episode Idea
comedyfreak 10-22-2007, 10:52 AM Since there are discussions on different episodes, why don't you mention which show you'll be watching next. That way we can all talk about it the next day. The same way a book club works, I'd like to know what future eps are going to be discussed so I can watch them and follow everyone.

I agree, C.Freak. It is helpful to mention a show before it is on so we know what to watch for. Some people are watching on TVLand, and some of us have the DVDs. If we go by the TVLand schedule the episode postings won't be so random. (Of course ANY discussion of ANY episode is always welcome).
Tonight's TVLand episodes are: 6:00-Home From Europe & 6:30-Lucy Meets Orson Welles (I could have sworn this was on yesterday).
Ireneparalegal 10-22-2007, 04:36 PM Those were on yesterday and I believe on Saturday as well!
I will try and catch these episodes so we can chat.

The problem is the TVLand schedule is so random. They're all over the place these days!
Ireneparalegal 10-22-2007, 05:22 PM ^^^^ Exactly. Why aren't they going in order!?
Also does ILL air on any of your local channels? I get to watch ILL on my local Fox Channel, KTTV and also on my local UPN channel, KCOP.

My area just shows it on TVLand right now. Sometimes they will go in order with a group of episodes like Europe or Calif., and then they will skip to some other season.
There are many episodes that aren't as well known or played as much. I wish they would tap into those more instead of playing the same eps. over and over. This weekend alone I think that Orson Welles was on three times! :(
Ireneparalegal 10-22-2007, 05:49 PM I believe you are right abt that Orson Welles episode and it being shown three times. One of my least favorite episodes too.

Yeah, at 2:00 in the morning! And TVLand usually airs really bad, worn-out prints. I prefer to stick with my sharp, crystal clear DVD prints that I can play whenever I choose.

The weekend before last, TVLand aired "The Benefit" at 10AM on Sunday, then an hour later, they were airing it again!
NOVARick 10-22-2007, 06:25 PM And speaking of watching the DVDs, I think that's what I'm going to do right now! I got sent home from work today because of the wildfires. There aren't many places I can go because of the smell of smoke, so I may as well take advantage of the time I'm forced to stay home, huh?

Yeah they did. How stupid was that???? Tvland really proved with this how pathetic they are.
As for the smell of smoke, I hear that. My house is filled with dirt, ash and the smell of it. God, it is so dirty around here. I have the windows and doors shut but to no avail. We are surrounded by fires.

I'm sorry to hear that. I went into work for a couple hours this morning and the smell of smoke permeated the building and was starting to make my eyes burn before I left, but in my neighborhood the air is pretty clean right now. It smelled of smoke a little this morning, but the smoky smell went away later, and will hopefully stay away. It was much worse for me in 2003 when my patios were covered with ash. Do keep those doors and windows shut. Hopefully that will keep out most of the crap. You don't want to breathe that stuff.

No we don't want to breathe it. God, it is stifling in here.
