Alright now that seasons 1 thru 7 are out on DVD and the next season to be released is (obviously) the 8th and final season, how many people here plan to buy it?

I know this question has been asked before, but now it's closer to the release date. I say May of '08, but that's just my guess. The plus side of getting the DVD for people who hated the final year is, of course, the commentary by David Trainer. We'll get to hear from him his feelings on the show and maybe why they did certain things that season.

I for one, plan to buy the 8th season. Not only to complete the series, but also because I like the 8th season.

After years and years away from the show (I haven't seen too many episodes after the 2nd season), I finally started collecting the DVD sets a few weeks ago. I picked up the first 4 seasons when I saw them on sale. I'm loving the show again. I can't even remember why I stopped watching in the first place. Maybe it was all the timeslot changes....I don't know.

Anyway, yes. Whenever it comes out, I will be getting the 8th and final season on DVD. Of course I want to complete the series, but more importantly I'm excited to experience those episodes for the very first time. I can't wait for the set!

even though i feel that the 8th season was unnessescry and themost of the actors save for kurtwood smith and debra jo rupp seemed to be phoining it in by then i still will buy the dvd not only to complete the series but because despite the fact that the show seemed at times to be limping along there are still a handfull of really funny eps that year

I would buy Season 8 on DVD to complete my set of That '70's Show. Because on Season 8 which I like about is the final show which is "The Finale" on S8 when Eric & Kelso come home to ring into the new year for 1980. I enjoy seeing them both on TV on December 31, 1979.

I'd consider getting it cause, it's not shown in syndication where I live. When the 8th season originally aired there was other things I watched instead, so I only seen a handful of season 8 episodes including the final show.

I will buy it.
