Action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger is as competitive off screen as he is on, according to his Predator co-star Carl Weathers.

Weathers, 59, - who shot to fame as boxing champ Apollo Creed in Rocky - tells how muscle-bound Schwarzenegger encouraged the cast of 1987 horror movie Predator to compete in "ego"-driven iron-pumping competitions between takes.

He tells MTV.com, "Arnold and I had a competitive thing going on. He took his whole gym down there, enough weights to kill a giant. All of a sudden guys were getting up at 6 and 4 in the morning, trying to be the first one in there and get the biggest pump. It was just ego, ego, ego. We were getting up in the middle of the night to work out! It was like having a bunch of adolescent boys at day camp."

I like Carl Weathers. I saw him in the previews of a new silly movie. I forgot the name of it but i couldn't believe i saw him because he hadn't done a movie in a long time. LOL@him getting his ass beat to death in Rocky IV by Dolph Lundgren hahahahahahahahahahaha. At the beginning of the boxing match, he was showboating and ended up getting his ass whipped LOL. He shouldn't have taken Dolph lightly. Action Jackson is one of my favorite Carl movies. 80's r&b singer/actress Vanity was looking hot in Action Jackson. Some scenes in Action Jackson were phony like the scene when Carl is chasing after a killer in a taxi and the killer is driving the taxi. When the killer drove towards Carl, Carl ran towards the car and jumped over the car. I said oh lord hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Then the killer kept driving towards a building after Carl jumped over the car and the car did a flip and ran into the building. When Carl went to search the car, the killer wasn't there LOL. That was phony. There's no way the killer could've gotten outta the car that fast.

Arnold Schwarzenegger an Egomaniac? Well, we knew that! That's a large part of what made him who he is today.

It doesn't sound like Carl is jealous, though. More like revisiting memories.
