My cousin is a scientist currently studying Lyme disease near Lunenberg, Nova Scotia. Part of the studies include trapping live white-footed mice (Peromyscus
maniculatus) which are bled, checked for ticks, tagged and released.
This picture taken in July, 2007 shows a cat who got wise to the study and
set up operations by one of their traps!
