How come it seems all of a sudden the TV landscape is crowded with guys named Chuck? I struggle to think of any TV character in the past named Chuck, and now this year there's several...Pushing Daisies, Back To You, and Chuck to name but three. Wonder why? If it's coincidence, it seems like a strange one.

Chuck Cunningham and Corporal Chuck Boyle come to mind. Of course there's also Charlie Brown who was referred to as Chuck by Peppermint Patty.

Wouldn't it be funny if Chuck Cunningham all of a sudden had his own show?? On a personal note, I once dated a guy named Chuck.

I would too!! I'd want to hear his side of the story and if he won that basketball game he went to and never came back from...wasn't that it? Or maybe he just left with a basketball in his hand...or did he just go upstairs and never come down?...or maybe that was the girl from Family Matters...anyway, I'd wanna hear!

That's a great idea. Chuck Cunningham, Judy Winslow, Carl Dixon, etc. could show us what life is like once your family and friends forget you exist.

I love it! That'd even make a good E! True Hollywood Story Or they could sit down with Oprah and tell their sad story...

Hmmm...wonder what the titles of those episodes would be??

Remember the Rankin/Bass special of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? They could title one episode "The Island of Misfit TV Characters". It would be a real parallel universe - something like Twilight Zone meets Lost meets Survivor.
