I have always wonder was The Chief ever Married

Well, i seasons 1-3 he was supposed to be married and in season 4 he suddenly became a life-long single man :crazy:

I think he should have got Married

He wore a wedding ring throughout the entire run of the series (I'm guessing because he was married in real life) and I seem to remember it being mentioned in one of the episodes, but I can't remember which one. I wonder why they decided to make him single after saying he was married the first couple seasons? It must have been one of those things that was overlooked by the writers in the last 2 seasons.
