I know hes still alive but whats he doing now I havent seen him since Sanford and Son all I want to know is what is he doing now?

I remember several years ago, Demond Wilson was interviewed on the 700 Club by Ben Kinchlow. Kinchlow kept talking about "Sanford & Son" and finally Wilson, very impatiently, said he wasn't there to talk about an "old TV show" but to talk about his "walk with God". It sort of caught Kinchlow off-guard a little bit. I don't think I have seen Wilson on TV since that interview.

That was kind of rude on Demond's part. Yeah, we understand no one wants to typecast you for your TV work. But, he was on one of TV's most popular sitcom, and does he not think nobody is going to talk about his most famous work?! I don't get some of these arrogant out-of-work actors.

Well keep in mind it was over 30 years ago so he has probabl talked about the show enough and now just want to focus and talk about other things. I see nothing rude about it

I just caught the episode of "Girlfriends" where he appeared last week. I watch SnS almost every day and it was great to see him again. I also saw him on Bill O'Reilly and he was very personable, talking about SnS and his ministry. I can't wait to read the book he has written, some of it may be hard to hear but I still want to read it.

I think what Demond is doing now is fantastic, God bless him and his ministry. Glad that he has opened up about Sanford and Son. Sounds like he's a pretty nice person.

I got a kick out of his interview from On Screen & Beyond. Mr. Wilson has also been married to the same woman since 1974 and has six children!! :cool: :D
