Scene-Blair's office in Eastland

[phone rings]
Blair: I wonder who that could be! [answers]Eastland school! Ms. Warner speaking!

Jo: Blair its me! Jo!

Blair: Jo!!! How nice to hear from you!!! Whats up?

Jo: Blair, i just got a call from Beverly Ann!

Blair: Thats great! She called me a few weeks ago and said that Mrs. Garrett and her reopened the store and called it "Over Our Edibles!"

Jo: Yeah yeah but Blair....

Blair: They sell all the old stuff we used to! And some cookies...and cakes....

Jo: BLAIR!!!!!!

Blair: and they are doing GREAT in business...

Jo: BLAIR!!! Shut up and listen!!!

Blair: Well some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!

Jo: Blair!! Mrs. G is sick!!!

Blair: WHAT!?!?!?!?!?

Scene-Tootie and Jeff's Apartment

[jeff enters with the mail]

Jeff: Hey honey, theres some note here...from Beverly Ann!!!!

Tootie: Really!?!?!? Wow!!! I haven't heard from her in awhile! Let me see it! [Jeff hands tootie the letter]

Jeff: Well read it!

Tootie: [reads]
Dear Tootie,
How are things there? Good i hope. Well i wish i could say the same for here. You see, i need you, Blair, Natalie, and Jo here. Edna is....[pauses]

Jeff: What???

Tootie: Oh my goodness.....

Scene-Natalie and Snakes house

[Natalie is on the computer, checking her email]

Natalie: Hey Snake!! Come quick!

Snake: What is it?

Natalie: I just got this email from Beverly Ann!! The subject is "A Reunion!!!!"

Snake: Wow!!!!! Read it!

Natalie: Ok! [reads the email]
Nat,
I need you and the other girls here as soon as possible! Its Mrs. Garrett's last wish.....she wants to see the four of you, back together again, before she....[pauses]

Snake: Before she what!?!?!??

Nat: I don't believe this!!!!!!!

Scene-Mrs. Garretts bedroom

Note: Mrs. Garrett and Beverly Ann now live together. Mrs. Garrett got divorced in 1992. The two of them now run the new store, Over Our Edibles.

Beverly: Don't worry Edna! You'll be fine soon!

Mrs. G: I hope so!!! I have pain in my stomach, in my head, in my back....

[doorbell rings]

Mrs. G: Oh my!!!! That must be the girls!!!

Beverly Ann: I'll get it! [rushes downstairs, answers the door. Blair, Jo, Rick, Tootie, Jeff, Nat, and Snake are all standing there.]Hello everyone! You...all...came...together?

Jo: Yeah Bev, we met each other all at the train station!!!

Beverly: I'm so happy to see you all! Hey....don't you have kids yet?

Nat: A time will come, a time will come.

Blair: What did you call us here for?

Tootie: Is Mrs. Garrett ok???

Beverly Ann: Well...she's....

Mrs. G: Girls, sorry to spoil this for you, but I'm getting tired....can i please take a nap?

Blair: Of course Mrs. Garrett!

Mrs. G: Well, see ya. [Mrs. G dozes off]

Bev: Well girls, while Edna is sleeping, how bout i show you "Over Our Edibles?"

Jo: Heyyyyy! Pretty nice Bev!

Bev: Thanks!

Nat: Oh my gosh oh my gosh! They sell fish pens! [all laugh]

Blair: [sees some stuffed animals]Wow!!!! You carry Mr. Frogs!!!

Tootie: And theres candy, and cookies, and cake, and clothes....just like the old days!

[all hear a loud collapse]

Bev: Oh my god....Edna!!!!

[all rush upstairs]

Scene-Mrs. Garretts Bedroom

[Mrs. Garrett has fallen off her bed, and has become unconcious]

Jo: OH MY GOD!!!!

Blair: Mrs. Garrett!!! Wake up! I'm sorry for everything i've ever done wrong but PLEASE wake up! [cries]

Nat: Call 911 call 911!!!!

Tootie: Oh Mrs. Garrett!!!!!

Scene-Hospital

Bev: Is she ok doctor?

Doctor: Well theres good news and bad news. Yes she's fine....so far as the falling off the bed...she's almost concious...

Blair: Oh thats wonderful!!!!

Jo: Wait a second doc...whats the bad news?

Doctor: The bad news...is...we have discovered a disease in her....

All: WHAT!?!?!?!?!?

Doctor: It seems she has....

Bev: It seems she has what?

Doctor: Leukemia.

Natalie: I don't believe this...its one piece of bad news after another!

Blair: When Mrs. Garrett wakes up, she'll discover she has leukemia! [all cry]

Beverly Ann: Hi Edna!!! I bought you some flow....[sees her unconcious]

Jo: She hasn't woken up yet.

Beverly Ann: Oh no!!!!!!

An few hours later.....

Scene-Waiting Room

[Blair, Natalie, Tootie, Jo, Beverly ann are all sitting down, doctor enters]

Doctor: Guys i have great news!!!

All: WHAT!?!?

Doctor: Edna has regained conciousness!

Tootie: Oh thats wonderful!!!!!!

Blair: Mrs. Garrett is getting better!

Doctor: Well........

Jo: Well what? Come on Doc whats wrong?

Doctor: She seems to have a very bad case of leukemia....it could be her time very soon....

Natalie: You mean....

Doctor: Yes.

Beverly Ann: Oh!!!!! Edna!!!!

[all begin to cry]

Scene-Mrs. Garrett's Hospital Room

[the five enter, Mrs. Garrett is now concious]

Blair: Mrs. Garrett!!!!!!

Mrs. Garrett: Oh hi Blair!!!! [hugs her]And Jo!!! Tootie! Natalie!!! My girls....back together again....

Tootie: Oh Mrs. Garrett!!!! Don't worry!!!

Nat: We'll never leave your side until...

Jo: That time comes.....

Mrs. Garrett: What are you talking about?

Beverly Ann: Edna! We know that soon....its over....

Mrs. Garrett: I have no idea what you all are talking about! Whats going on?

Jo: You mean the doctor didn't tell you?

Mrs. Garrett: No!! What didn't he tell me....???

[Jo, Blair, Natalie, Tootie, Beverly Ann have all just arrived home from the hospital. Jeff, Snake, and Rick are sitting down on the couch.]

Jeff: Hey..why the long faces?

Tootie: Oh Jeff!!! [breaks down and cries]

Snake: What is going on?

Rick: Yeah! And...why...are...u..all...crying?

Jo: Rick, Mrs. Garrett has leukemia...a really bad case of it....

Blair: And pretty soon, it could be her time...to...go...

Jeff: Oh my...Blair...do u mean what i think u mean?

Bev: I'm afraid she does....we have to enjoy these few days...while Edna is still here.....

Later that night.....

Its 3:00 in the morning, the phone rings. Jo and Blair are awakened by the phone.

Jo: I got it i got it....some people really need to learn how to tell time! [answers the phone]Hello? Oh...hi...

Blair: Who is it?

Jo: Its Mrs. G's doctor! [on the phone]WHAT!?!?!?!?!!?

Blair: Whats wrong?

Jo: Blair wake everyone up!!! We gotta go to the hospital right this minute!!!

Blair: Why????

Jo: JUST DO IT!!!!

Scene-Mrs. Garrett's Hospital Room

[all are crying, Beverly Ann is holding Mrs. Garrett's hand]

Doctor: I'm really sorry to tell u this...but these...are...her last minutes...

Natalie: No!!! She can't die!!!! She just can't!

Tootie: Oh Mrs. Garrett! If you can hear me, i love you and i'll miss you!

Jo: Me too Mrs. G! Please don't go!!!

Blair: Mrs. Garrett! What would we do without you!!!!

Beverly Ann: Edna!!! You're the best sister i ever could ask for!!! Don't go, please, no, no, no, no, no.......

****A sudden flash of light occurs****

Scene-Beverly Ann's Bedroom

Bev: [dreaming]no, no, no

Mrs. Garrett: Beverly Ann!!! Wake up!

Bev: [still dreaming]Don't go!!!!!

Mrs. Garrett: Don't go where?

Bev: [wakes up] A dream....it was a dream!!! It was a dream!!!!!!!! Oh Edna! You're alive! [hugs her]

Mrs. Garrett: Well of course I'm alive!!!! Why wouldn't i be? I wouldn't be dead to miss the reunion!

Bev: What reunion???

Mrs. Garrett: Remember!!!! The one we've been planning for months! With Blair, Jo, Natalie, Tootie....

Bev: And their husbands?

Mrs. Garrett: Exactly!!!!!

Bev: Oh yeah!!! Alright! I'll be downstairs soon!

Mrs. Garrett: Ok! I'll start setting up. [exits]

Beverly Ann: It was a dream. It was all a dream.

Thats all for this sad part!!!

The next part is the actual reunion! They have a big party! And it will be HAPPY!

Mrs. Garrett: Well I'm happy you're here too! How's Eastland been?

Blair: Oh...its fine...really tough....but fine!

Mrs. Garrett: Have you adjusted to all the dorms being coed?

Blair: Well...thats the tough part.

Mrs. Garrett: Oh?

Blair: Well I can give advice to girls, but its hard to for boys! I THINK i once knew someone who always gave me advice....

Mrs. Garrett: BLAIR!!!

Blair: Just kidding!!!

[doorbell rings]

Mrs. Garrett: Here's another one!!! [opens the door, sees Natalie and Snake]Natalie!!!

Natalie: Hey Mrs. Garrett!!! [they hug]

Mrs. Garrett: Oh and hi Snake!!!

Snake: Hi Mrs. Garrett!! How are you?

Mrs. Garrett: Oh, I'm fine! Hey do u wanna...

Blair: [interrupts her]NATALIE!!!

Nat: BLAIR!!!!! [they hug]

Snake: Hey Blair! Remember me?

Blair: Of course! Hi Snake!

[doorbell rings again]

Mrs. G: I'll...

Nat: No, I'LL get it! [opens]Hey!!! Jo!!! [they hug]

Jo: Heyyyy Nat!!! Mrs. G! Blair! Snake!

Blair: Jo!!! How great to see you again! [they hug]

Mrs. G: Hi Jo!! [hugs jo]I'm so glad you came!!!

Nat: Hey, is Rick here?

Jo: Yeah...he'll be up soon! We had a little car trouble on the way....

Mrs. G: Oh I'm sorry!

Jo: Well it was SO worth it though! No car trouble was gonna stop me from seein u guys! If i REALLY couldn't start the car, I'd hotwire it....

Mrs. G: JO!!!!!!!

Jo: Just kiddin!!!

[Rick enters]

Mrs. G: Oh hello Rick!!!!!

Rick: Hi there!!! I REALLY need a new car! The one we have now is DYING!

[Beverly Ann enters]
Bev: Hahahaha Rick its funny you say that!!! I have to tell you guys about my dream!

Mrs. G: OH!!! My cookies are burning!!![runs out of the room]

Jo: Hey Bev! Howz Over Our Edibles doing?

Bev: Great great...now let me tell you about my dream!

All: OK!!!!

Bev: Well, i had a dream, that we all got together, just like this....

Nat: Yeah......

Blair: And.....

Bev: Well it was for a SAD occasion! [laughs]hahaha!

Jo: What was the occasion?

[doorbell rings]

Bev: Well in my dream you all came because... [opens the door, tootie and jeff are standing there]EDNA IS DYING!!! haha!

Tootie: WHAT?!?!?!? Oh Mrs. Garrett! Poor mrs. garrett! And Beverly Ann...thats not something to laugh about!

Bev: And why not? It was so silly!!!!

Tootie: No its not!!! OH!! Mrs. Garrett! Don't die!

Jeff: Well both of u can look at it! Lets go! [Rick, Snake, and Jeff exit]

Mrs. G: Oh no!!! This COMPLETELY slipped my mind!!!

Blair: What did?

Mrs. G: Bev, we need to paint the storage room! And now, its much larger!

[Jo, Nat, Blair, and Tootie all stare at each other and smile]

Jo: Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?

Blair, Tootie, Natalie: Yeah!!!!

Tootie: Mrs. Garrett, we'll paint it for you!

Mrs. G: But you'll get your clothes dirty!

Blair: Nah...we won't....

Nat: We're mature adults.........

Scene-Storage Room

[all the paint cans, brushes, and rollers are inside]

Tootie: [laughs]Hahaha! This sure brings back a memory!

Blair: OH MY GOSH! The paint fight! [the four laugh]

Nat: How'd that start anyway?

[Blair goes to sit down on a chair]

Jo: Like this! [Jo puts a paint tin under blair, blair sits on it]

Blair: Oooo i remember!!! And then like this! [paints Jo's face]I must warn you....[picks up two paint brushes]I'm a fencing artist!!![throws paint all over Jo]

Jo: Owww owww my eye oww....

Blair: [goes closer to Jo]ooo let me see! [Jo throws paint in blairs face]

Jo: I'm a con artist!!!!! [Jo and Blair begin throwing paint on each other, like the paint fight in eastland!]

Nat: STOP!!! STOP IT!!!

Blair: Jo, are you thinking what im thinking...

Jo: OHHHHH Yes!!! [Jo and Blair throw paint on Natalie, the three begin painting each other and splashing paint all around]

[Tootie attempts to leave]

Blair: Just WHERE do u think you're going?

Tootie: Ummm.....

Jo: Lets get her!!!! [Jo, Blair, Natalie throw paint on Tootie]

All begin having ANOTHER huge paint fight, laughing and screaming.....

[Bev and Mrs. G enter]

Mrs. G: Hey girls hows the....

Jo, Blair, Natalie, Tootie: OOOOOOO!!!!!!

Tootie: We are in TRRROUUUUBBBLLE!!!!

Mrs. Garrett: Hi.....

Beverly Ann: Now, girls, whats going on?

Natalie: Uhhh...we're painting the storage room....?

Mrs. Garrett: GIRLS!!! You're supposed to paint the ROOM not yourselves!

Jo: Oh Mrs. G we can explain....

Blair: Or at least we'll try!

Tootie: Well u know us....we were talking about the old days in Eastland....and a really funny memory came to mind!

Natalie: Yeah! The paint fight! Funnyyyy funny funny!

Mrs. Garrett: OK girls....but do you remember what happened AFTER your paint fight?

Jo: Ummm...we...had...to...work in the kitchen?

Mrs. Garrett: Right!!!!

Blair: Oh Mrs. Garrett, we are SO sorry! I'll pay for all this i promise!

Mrs. Garrett: No ya won't!

Blair: And why not?

Mrs. Garrett: Because....

Mrs. Garrett takes a huge bucket of paint, and splashes it all over Jo, Blair, Natalie, and Tootie. All start laughing and throwing paint at each other!

Mrs. Garrett: I missed out on the first one! I'm not gonna be left out again! [all continue throwing paint on each other and laughing]

Bev: Guys!!! Stop!!!! This is a waste of paint!

Jo, Blair, Natalie, Tootie, and MRs. Garrett all stare at each other with a clever look on their face.

Mrs. Garrett: Come on girls! Bev looks too clean!

Jo: Well that can all change! [all take paint buckets and splash paint all over beverly ann]

Bev: Ah what the heck?

Beverly Ann joins the paint fight. The six of them continue laughing and making a huge mess.

Later that night........

The reunion is coming to an end....

Mrs. Garrett: Oh girls! It was so nice to see you again!!!!!

Jo: You too Mrs. Garrett!!!

Beverly Ann: We have to do this again sometime!

Tootie: Just one question...where were Andy and Pippa?

Beverly Ann: You mean you didn't hear??

Edna: They're getting married!!!

Nat: MARRIED?!?!?

Blair: Thats wonderful! I didn't even know they were seeing each other!

Beverly Ann: Well, they were invited, but you see, they were too busy planning for their wedding!

Jo: Man, that lil Andy! Years ago, he was just a cute little kid who came into the store...

Nat: And pippa....she was just an australian girl who came to go to Eastland....

Tootie: And now they're getting married!

Blair: Well i don't know about you guys, but i really have to go....

Mrs. Garrett: Oh girls!!!!! I'll miss you! [hugs them all]

Bev: You have to come back again!!! Soon! [hugs them all]

J,B,N,T: Bye!!!! [the four exit]

Mrs. Garrett: My girls....all grown up.
