I couldn't be happier . . . let's hope this is true. The show's already seemed to stablize at around 6.5 million. Considering how badly the Fox animated sitcoms are doing so far this season, and how sitcoms have done for Fox in the past, BTY's is doing pretty good so far.

Very good examples! ELR was around #70 I believe in it's first season, and it ended up running 9 full seasons. Let's BTY is the same way!

I'm sure FOX has just picked it up for a full season to air it after AI. I can tell they are just waiting to find their glory with this show after AI. That way, they could air new sitcom Jezebel James with Til Death, and BTY with AI.

I really hope it's true. I like this sitcom and think it has realyl great potential. I'm glad Fox is giving it a chance, considering how quickly they usually yank shows.

I'd like to see you more here as well! We could always use more posters at this board . . . the more posters, the bigger the discussions, the way I see it.

Fox usually doesn't yank their shows in the fall. They've been giving all their new shows time to shine this season. Look at Kitchen Nightmares. It's only been doing a little more than 6 million an episode, and they've already ordered a second season. I hope we hear the same for Back to You as well.

It is. It did a very respectable 6.91 million viewers last night. I'll take any increase, no matter how big or small. Once The Terminator aka American Idol strolls into town, things can only get better. This show has what it takes. Starpower, veteran writers and directors, and it's a very funny show. Word of mouth counts too. People at my work are talking about a few shows, Back to You being one of them. The important thing is that the show isn't losing viewers. I'm feeling more confident with each passing week.

It's been growing each week the past 3 episodes. Let's hope it can get back over 7 million next week. I think last week's drop from Pushing Daisies brought back some of the audience, but not quite as much.

It's not like this show is a complete ratings-dud. Doing a respectable 6.91 million is pretty good. It's about on par so far with Carpoolers and Cavemen. It's just the way sitcoms are these days. Nothing else can be done about it.

AI will give it a huge boost, not doubt. It happened with Til Death last year, so it should work even better with BTY.

I never watched Frasier much, so I don't have a problem separating the characters. I did watch ELR a lot though, but Patricia Heaten is so much different in this show then in ELR. She's got the highlights, and I agree, she looks much more beautiful here than in Raymond. Looks like she lost weight, and she just doesn't have that housewife-look anymore.

I hear what you are saying. It is hard at times to separate both characters. I am a HUGE Frasier fan. I think it is up to both the writers AND Kelsey to distinguish Chuck Darling as a totally different character.

I think the writers have already done a pretty good job of distinguising the characters, though. Now it's up to the viewers to realie Chuck Darling is completely different from Frasier Crane.

Well, we finally got over 7 million viewers for last night's episode. At least we know the ratings won't be going down any future than they were a couple weeks ago. If a sitcom can manage over 7 million, I'd call it a success.
