Are there any foods or beverages that you hate that most people love? For me it would be the following:

Coffee
Dairy products especially milk
Raw onions
Raw tomatoes
Oreos (Nastiest cookie on the planet)
Eggs
Mayo

To name a few

Onions.

Raw veggies...all of them, minus lettuce, but who eats lettuce cooked??
Pineapple
Roast
Baked Potatos (unless they are drenched in cheese)
Fish (that isn't coated in breading)

bread - I could go the rest of my life without another piece of bread
chili - blech
yogurt - ack!
Plain glass of milk - P-tooey!
almost all meat including steak - eeeuuuwww
any kind of candy other than chocolate - what's the point if it's not chocolate
any kind of nuts - nasty
Lemonade

Ketchup. YEEEEEEEEEEECH. It's basically tomato and sugar in a bottle. *shudder*
Mustard
Most varieties of nuts - I'll only eat cocktail peanuts, mmm.
Eggs - for some reason, I adore the smell of eggs being cooked, but I just CAN'T eat them. They're just plain gross to eat.
Seafood
Mayo (so, no ranch for me - yuck)
Pork

There are a lot more I don't like, but I make up for it by loving a ton of fruits and veggies. :) Oh, and beef and chicken.

red meat (I loathe steak and prime rib mostly...once in a while I'll have a burger or some meat loaf, but that's rare), nuts, beer, coffee (I only like it iced, but I'd still choose something else over that), corn, regular soda (It makes me cringe when I sip it...I'm so used to diet sodas now!) I'm not really a fan of Oreos either.

I'll think of more as they come to me :)

I can't stand meatloaf, but everyone else in my family loves it. Can't stand onions and cottage cheese. I don't drink coffee and alcohol. A couple of weeks ago, my family went to a friend's wedding/reception. My brother had TEN beers!! :faint: Thank goodness he wasn't driving.

I am allergic to eggs, so, I dont eat them or pancakes
I hate onions and tomatoes if they are raw (though i like them both cooked)
I hate most fish (but love seafood) perch and haddock being exceptions
I cant stand cottage or cream cheese (although, i love other kinds of cheese like cheddar)
I absolutely despise yogurt (Even though my Dr says i need to eat it for my stomach acid problem)
Im not particularly fond of potatoes...have to drench them in margarine to make them eatable
I hate spicy and/or hot foods such as peppers or Mex food (I can eat pizza and mild chicken wings, thats about as spicy as i can stand)
And i really dont care for bread, i use it to keep my sandwiches together, and thats about it....and if i run out of meat in the sandwich, i throw the extra bread away!
I hate coffee, tea and any form of alcohol

Yogurt. Just the smell of it makes me gag...:puke: HOW CAN YOU ALL EAT THAT CRAP? IT SMELLS LIKE SPOILED MILK!!!!!

Lima beans. Never liked them.

Sour Cream. I love it as a dip, but not on my food. Mexican dishes served in restaurants usually have a dallop of that stuff on top of their food. No thank you!

Cottage Cheese. Yeah that's right, I said it. CRAP!!!!!

Sushi. :puke:

Cheese in my hamburgers. Why???? It takes away from the taste of the hamburger. I love cheese overall BUT NOT ON HAMBURGERS!

I just remembered one--chocolate ice cream. People think I'm weird, but I'm actually not a fan of chocolate ice cream. I can only stand it if it's in a limited amount (i.e., in a soft serve twist with vanilla or those Neopolitan tubs). A whole bowl of plain chocolate ice cream does nothing for me, though...gimme strawberry or mint chocolate chip any day! :)

But I do love chocolate candy bars. Figure that one out :)

-ketchup
-raw onions
-mushrooms
-water chestnuts
-grapefruit
-baked beans (yuck....sweet-flavored beans are NASTY! I cannot stand the combo...blah!)

I'm sure more will come to mind later, but these are the ones that stand out the most. puke:

I get that...you like your chocolate full strength and uncompromised. I'm the same way. You probably don't like chocolate milk or chocolate soda so much either, or generally anything that mucks up your chocolate. Me too. I don't even want nuts or caramel or nougat or rice crispies or anything lowering the concentration of my chocolate. Although I like chocolate ice cream and chocolate milk, it definitely isn't what I go to when I want a chocolate fix, unless I'm gonna put a whole lotta chocolate syrup in it. :)

The peanut is classified as a legume not a nut so you're ok there. Several people have mentioned not liking nuts. I'm a little surprised by this and some of the other responses but it only proves that not everyone likes the same stuff. I eat mixed nuts by the can and I'd die without iced-tea. :(

Eggnog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eggnog) is a thick, creamy and sweet dairy drink. It's usually mixed with eggs, cinnamon, and milk. They're usually sold in North Amerca between October through early January - just in time during the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays.

I don't think that fruitcake is all that bad as people make them out to be! The negative stigma is what makes people too brainwashed about being horrible.

Thanks, I think the egghog seems quite nice because i like cinnamon, I remember when i was younger and at a wedding, their wedding cake was a fruitcake covered in white icing, Anyway i sat there and ate all the icing off mine and others that left it!!! I was sick alnight, So i guess that put me off fruitcake.....and icing of course
