That was in the news in 2006. The killer's name is William Richard Bradford (google the name for more details). If this is the case you are referring to, then no, it was never on UM. Maybe you saw it on Court TV?

Christopher Wilder is another that killed models/beauty queens. He has even been listed as a possibility involving the disappearance of Tammy Leppert but really no evidence. Here is a link:

AMW did several stories on this case. They mentioned that they had been in contact with several of the women in the photo album.
