Does anybody know about purchasing international DVDs? Two websites offer the complete series of "Leave it to Beaver" (seasons 1-6), whereas in the US only seasons 1 & 2 have been released.

Dokido offers it for $129.95 (24 DVD set) and DVDDonkey offers it for $118.99 (24 DVD set). They both say it will play in all regions.

As of now it seems the rest of the LITB series won't be released in the US. Is it worth the risk to buy DVDs made in other countries? They probably won't have much bonus material, but I am more concerned about the overall quality.

The same thing happens with movies. For example, "African Queen" has not been released in the US yet, but it is available from other sources.

I never heard of purchasing international DVD's,and I would not bother with them for the following reasons-1)They may be bootleg ,and NOT of good quality.and 2)They are WAAAAY too expensive.

These are bootlegs and are NOT official international releases.
