No, they sent out an UFN (until further notice) for the new October schedule starting Oct. 15. The Oct. 12-14 minor stuff is just for those days until the new schedule starts on Oct. 15.
So, yes the new schedule is week of Oct. 22 and Oct. 29 at the very least.

It's good to hear then! This schedule is much better than their current schedule. The only things I don't like are FH at 9pm and no more Murphy Brown! But, at least we get more Roseanne and Cosby than we did before. Hopefully NAN will decide to bring both shows back in primetime for November (I'm being very hopeful still).
Pavan, do you know at all how Home Improvement and George Lopez are doing? They must be doing well enough to stay in primetime.
Pavan 10-13-2007, 12:21 PM They both are doing decent, I hear. George is doing better out of the two.
Scoobiedoo30 10-13-2007, 12:23 PM is Decent a good thing
I'm surprised that George Lopez is doing so well - I thought HI would have been huge for them. At least it is doing decent.
My prediction: FH will bomb (or at least not do well) and will be moved to 5:30 again....and replaced with Home Improvement at 9. But who's watching it at 3AM on a Thursday night??
JulieSomoski 10-13-2007, 06:24 PM I'm surprised that George Lopez is doing so well - I thought HI would have been huge for them. At least it is doing decent.

You mean bomb at 9pm or Thursday nights? I think Full House will stick around at 9pm for awhile. It's never been in any other timeslot ever except 9pm. It's a great transitional show, and people know when to watch it if they want to. You'd think instead of having all the extra airings from 12-3am, we could get a couple episodes of Cosby and Roseanne, though. Just to bring in more variety. No one wants to sit through 6 hours of the same 3 shows.
Thinking about it, I'm not surprised GL is doing better. For one, it's current. Home Improvement has been off the air for 8 years now, which has been the case with other shows. Second, the 10pm hour is a better hour for watching NAN. 9 just seems to early, which is probably the case for most people.
I meant 9PM. Didn't they try it there again and it didn't last long? Or am I thinking about something else? I liked the idea of FH at 8:30, myself...leading in to the double takes of HI, etc would be best.

Full House always did well at 9pm. They were airing AFV there until HI came I think, but I'd rather Full House. I would rather they air it at 8:30, too. They could still air Home Improvement at 9, and maybe Roseanne at 9:30.
noveel 10-13-2007, 08:25 PM Subject to a randon unannounced Fresh Prince marathon.
thebloodyscot 10-14-2007, 10:15 PM Good to have Full House at a better time. But yeah, who's gonna watch those late night marathons? It's more airtime for those shows, but so late! And where's AFV? They really should air everything before repeating stuff. Otherwise it's really unfair to those other shows. But it's good that Home Improvement is still on at a good time. I still haven't watched George Lopez on the channel yet.
mgsports 10-15-2007, 08:55 PM Make the channel 24/7 Half Hour Sitcoms of shows from the 90's and 2000's.
Split TV Land into TV Land Half Hour Sitcoms 1900's to 80's and TV Land One Hour Shows 1900's to 80's.
Nick Toons can show all the Cartoons and Nick Kids can show like Drake and so on.
Nick TV can show Nick News,Movies,Game Shows and so on.
I was just over at nick-at-nite.com and it appears that there will be yet another schedule change next week....they are going back to the old late night schedule and Full House will be replaced by Home Improvement at 9PM.
Is this correct?
Pavan 10-16-2007, 09:18 AM No, the schedule for next week is not up to date on the website.

I thought the same thing, but I guess not. It's weird, because if you go to the week after next week, it shows the same schedule as this week.
Buffyboy323 10-17-2007, 01:01 PM Well, at least The Cosby Show, Roseanne, and Full House get marathons. It's good to see they haven't totally ditched those 3 shows (yet!). It's also good that they didn't bother shoving more Home Improvement and George Lopez down our throats. They're fine with their 4 or 5 episodes a night as it is. They don't need marathons too.
Full House has worked it's way back to a much earlier slot, so hopefully The Cosby Show and Rosey do too...and SOON!

I agree. I wish they would have chosen Roseanne or Cosby before Full House, but all is still good. And it is a good thing they haven't abandoned their 3 once-hit shows. But, you can tell they really are trying to get an audiene for their new shows, which is something NAN hasn't done in years.
JulieSomoski 10-17-2007, 04:42 PM Again, don't mean to sound rude, Pavan, but are you absolutely positive this is the schedule for next week? NAN has something completely different, and they've already changed it since my last post. They have for the week of 10/22:
Home Improvement at 9 and 9:30, George Lopez at 10 and 10:30. Then at 11 and 11:30pm they have different shows every night:
Mon - Fresh Prince
Tue - Cosby (11), Roseanne (11:30)
Wed - AFV (11), Full House (11:30)
Thur - Roseanne (11), Fresh Prince (11:30)
The 2 Home Improvement episodes Monday-Thursday are all Halloween episodes, and all the episodes at 11pm and 11:30 Mondays-Thursday are also Halloween episodes. The 2 GL episodes at 10pm are NOT Halloween episodes.
Then, on Sunday, 10/28, they have a Halloween marathon 9pm-midnight:
9pm Full House
9:30 Fresh Prince
10pm Home Improvement
10:30 Cosby
11pm Roseanne
11:30 Roseanne
They also have the old schedule all that week after midnight. Beginning next Monday, 10/29, this week's schedule goes back into effect, just with Home Impro. at 9pm, with more Halloween episodes, except for Halloween day. That night, they have another Halloween marathon, same time:
9pm Home Improvement
9:30 George Lopez
10pm Fresh Prince
10:30 Home Improvement
11pm Cosby
11:30 Roseanne
Beginning November 1st, the same schedule as this week exactly goes back into affect. Looking back on this post, I see it's very long and confusion. Don't mean to sound like a busybody . . . just hear to help. Sounds like a week long Halloween marathon-type thing if you will. Sounds fun!
Rest assured, this week's schedule will probably not go back in to affect....knowing them it'll be changed a few times before they decide on something for a week or so. Maybe it'll be a weeklong FPoBA marathon.
Tubehead 10-17-2007, 11:26 PM I think nick at nite should start at 5:00pm or at 6:00pm. that way they could show more shows.
Buffyboy323 10-18-2007, 05:33 AM I think nick at nite should start at 5:00pm or at 6:00pm. that way they could show more shows.
That seems a little too early, because the Nick fanbase is just coming home from school.
I think they should extend their schedule by an hour (8:00pm). I remember years ago The Brady Bunch, then later on (I believe) The Wonder Years aired at 8:30pm. They can put The Cosby Show and Full House on at 8:00 and 8:30, since they're probably the most "family friendly" shows they currently have.

I honestly wouldn't doubt they end up doing this in the very near future. It's a shame, really.
Buffyboy323 10-18-2007, 05:50 AM Then, on Sunday, 10/28, they have a Halloween marathon 9pm-midnight:

What on earth is that marathon? I guess Roseanne isn't getting 1 final Halloween marathon... :(
And you are too a busybody. ;)

Oh thanks. Just trying to help, because if I hadn't posted, everyone would be totally confused. I'm confused still-LOL.
I actually like this better. Instead of just seeing Roseanne Halloween episodes (although they were my favorite_ we get an entire variety of Halloween episodes for a week and a half. I believe the 9pm Home Improvement episodes are all Halloween (HI had some good ones, too), and the 11pm is Halloween episodes as well. I think they're airing every Roseanne Halloween episode there is, just on different days and at different times.
Pavan 10-18-2007, 03:39 PM They keep editing the schedule right now. So, I won't post it until I see something concrete. This channel is all over the place. But yes, they are planning some Halloween stunts.

I was hoping you'd verify this information, but of course, NAN has to keep things secretive, for whatever reason. I like this schedule, though. Too bad it's only for the Halloween stunts.

I guess it's fine if they're still airing all the Roseanne Halloween episodes. A marathon with a variety of shows might be a good change. I just hope Nick at Nite doesn't screw this up (by just airing the Home Improvement Halloween episodes). You know it's always something with them.
And I thought I saw every episode of Full House, about 50 billion times. I don't recall a Halloween show, at all.

I'm not a huge fan of Full House, but I do recall one Halloween episode, I believe in one of the earlier seasons (season 3?) where Stephanie wanted Dj to go with her to their school dance, but DJ wants to go to Kimmy's Halloween party or something like that. I think it's also the one where the 3 guys dress up like the 3 stooges. I don't remember any other ones.
Home Improvement had a lot. I think 1 for every season except season 1. Roseanne was the same way. Fresh Prince had that 2 part episode in season 1, and The Cosby Show had a few as well.
Now they apparently have this for 10/31:
9:00PM Home Improvement
9:30PM George Lopez
10:00PM Fresh Prince
10:30PM Home Improvement
11:00PM Cosby Show
11:30PM Roseanne
12:00AM-1:00AM Home Improvement
1:00AM-2:00AM George Lopez
2:00AM-5:30AM Fresh Prince
5:30AM Mad About You
Apparently those special Halloween episodes the week before are still scheduled. The current schedule goes back into effect starting 11/1, as of now.

I haven't seen the episode in years, but I do remember The Three Stooges costumes. I still don't remember that being a Halloween episode though. I'll be tuning in to this episode when they show it during the Halloween stunt.
I'll be watching The Cosby Show and Roseanne episodes too. I *might* try a few of the Halloween Home Improvement episodes, but I'm not making any promises. ;)

I'm glad the original Halloween schedule is still happening. I was afraid they would change it to an all night Home Improvement Halloween fest.
And it's a shame this lineup will only be a one night thing. I like it much better than the current schedule (mainly because Roseanne and The Cosby Show are on earlier). If Full House would replace that 9:00pm Home Improvement, this schedule would get a B+ grade from me.

I was thinking the same thing. This schedule is awesome. We get every big show on NAN in primetime, instead of having nothing but Home Improvement, Lopez, and Fresh Prince for 6 hours straight. Hopefully this week, with having all the different shows at 11pm, NAN will realize that we'd like to see some variety in primetime.

So, we were right all along. Very creative with the 11pm hour, too.
Buffyboy323 10-22-2007, 07:26 PM So only 2 Roseanne Halloween episodes? And even more Fresh Prince? Just when I thought I seen it all.
nickandmore 10-22-2007, 09:17 PM So, even though the schedule still has HI on at 9PM tonight, Full House is airing right now at 9PM. Screwy schedules!!!!!

I'm pretty sure every Halloween episode of Roseanne is airing (except season 9 episode). Between these "grab-bag" airings and the supposed Halloween marathons next Sunday and Wednesday night, they should all end up airing at some point. I think I'd actually rather have marathons like this sintead of just a Roseanne marathon. It's more fun this way. Plus, I own all the seasons . . . I could have my own little marathon-LOL

Oh, I just thought Roseanne was only airing those 2 nights in the 11pm hour. I like the variety of shows better too. It's the first nice move Nick at Nite has done in a long while.
I'l just throw my own Roseanne Halloween marathon as well. I haven't gotten the last 2 seasons, but those had the worst Halloween episodes anyway.
And not to nitpick on Nick at Nite (though I do enjoy it!), isn't the "Grab bag" such a corny title? Not even a good corny...just plain cheesy.

it's a corny title, but creative. Tonight's schedule is awesome, IMO, just because we get Roseanne and Cosby airing in primetime, plus Home Improvement, Fresh Prince, and George Lopez. Too bad NAN couldn't make that the permament schedule.
I just remembered I bought the Roseanne Halloween DVD last year. I don't know where I placed it though . . . I'll have to look tonight.
TVFactFan 10-24-2007, 03:05 PM I'm also starting to notice how George Lopez is slowly being pushed to the side
JulieSomoski 10-24-2007, 03:43 PM I'm also starting to notice how George Lopez is slowly being pushed to the side
I don't think it had any Halloween episodes, though. Home Improvement and Roseanne both had tons of Halloween episodes, which is probably why they'ire airing more. Plus, GL hasn't had it's timeslot moved from 10pm since it premiered
Buffyboy323 10-24-2007, 03:44 PM I'm also starting to notice how George Lopez is slowly being pushed to the side
How? Isn't it on at 10:00 and 10:30?...Then again later on?

I'd have to disagree. George Lopez is obviously doing better than HI, since it hasn't been moved or replaced once (HI was numerous times already, by Full House on and off). Since I love making prediction schedules, here's what I think will happen:
9pm Full House
9:30 Home Improvement

11pm Fresh Prince
11:30 Fresh Prince
12am Home Improvement

Weezy, I love your schedule, but I don't think Nick at Nite is smart enough to put most of their shows in that many good timeslots.
George Lopez is supposedly doing well. I think they're going to keep it at 10:00 and 10:30 a bit longer...And I doubt they have any intentions of airing Roseanne and Full House 3x a night. Nor do I think they would be that nice to Murphy Brown, Mad about You, and Designing Women.
I think the November schedule is going to be very similar to what it is now; The Fresh Prince, Home Improvement, and George Lopez dominating the night. And Roseanne, The Cosby Show, Full House, Murphy Brown, Mad About You, and Designing Women will all be snubbed.
TVFactFan 10-24-2007, 09:35 PM I'd have to disagree. George Lopez is obviously doing better than HI, since it hasn't been moved or replaced once (HI was numerous times already, by Full House on and off). Since I love making prediction schedules, here's what I think will happen:
9pm Full House
9:30 Home Improvement
10pm George Lopez
10:30 Roseanne
11pm Fresh Prince
11:30 Fresh Prince
12am Home Improvement
12:30 Home Improvement
1am George Lopez
1:30 George Lopez
2am Cosby Show
2:30 Fresh Prince
3am-5am Rotation of Roseanne, Cosby, Fresh Prince
5:30 Murphy Brown (Monday, Friday), Designing Women (Sun, Wed), Mad About You (Tues, Thurs), AFV (Saturday)
I wish GL came on 9pm/9:30pm. The 10pm hour isn' working for me

I would like to see GL/and the Cosby in the same hour followed by HI and Fresh Prince in the same Hour

If anything, I'd like to see George Lopez paired with Roseanne, and Fresh Prince paired with either Cosby or Home Improvement. They just seem to go best together. They seem to really like those overnight minimarathons too, so I think we'll see those stick around.
I'd like them to bring back Murphy and MAY, even if they are sharing a slot.

Why isn't it working for you?
I'd rather GL in the 9pm hour too. That way, I could still watch WTB on ION at 9pm, and still catch Home Improvement at 10pm.

Well some nights it does, but it just seems like my phone rings the most in the 10pm hour-lol

That's the weirdest thing . . . my phone was ringing nonstop last night at 10pm. I guess people are most awake then-LOL
I don't think you'll see Roseanne or Cosby in prime time (9PM-1AM basically) any time soon unless it's a special marathon or something. I don't know what happened to Roseanne, but apparently those shows just don't pull the ratings they're wanting. Cosby is supposed to be off the network entirely by April and Family Matters is coming too, another show that'll get the spotlight. I guess they just got some newer shows that they're wanting to focus on and shows that have been there longer (FH, Cosby, Roseanne) are sort of 'has beens' on N@N and are sort of fading. Not a slam to the shows, just my thought.

You're right, though. They're all hasbeens. It's weird, because all 3 were very highly rated at some point on the network. Either NAN has raised their expectations for their shows, or they don't want anything to do with Roseanne and Cosby no matter how well they do. I mean, how more well can HI do than Roseanne? They were from the same time, and basically focusing on the same family theme.

Yep, they're all 'has beens.' But really, how good can their ratings be at 1:00 and 1:30am? That's where I think Roseanne and The Cosby Show should be every night.
I actually can't wait for Family Matters to come. Even though I've seen all the episodes hundreds of times, I'm going to love it being on Nick at Nite. Maybe it's weird, but I love when my favorite sitcoms come on at night. I haven't watched the entire run of Family Matters since 2003/2004. And I barely watched any episodes since I heard the news of it coming to Nick at Nite. I want it to be kind of fresh when it debuts on the network (mostly so I can finally record all the episodes)....And I'm hoping Family Matters will be the show to finally shove The Fresh Prince out of the spotlight!
friendsfan77 10-24-2007, 11:50 PM ^ I just hope FM doesn't become as rerun abused as FP has. But knowing who the network is, it probably will.

Now I'm not so sure how Family Matters will do. We all though HI was going to be a huge hit, but so far, GL is doing better than it. And since Fm and HI are very similar shows, both from the same era of telelvision, we'll just have to wait and see.
I can't wait for it to come, either. By that time, I'm sure we can pretty much kiss Roseanne and Cosby goodbye.

Yeah, I remember thinking Home Improvement would be this big smash hit too...But Family Matters is a different type of show. I think it's similar to The Fresh Prince, Full House, Cosby Show, etc. It seems like Nick at Nite's kind of show. Even though the Taylor's had kids, I always thought Home Improvement had more of an adult audience (I could be wrong though). Family Matters was also from that era of shows they air now, so not only will adults look back on it, but Nick at Nite could create a whole new fanbase for the show (like they have with The Fresh Prince and Full House).

Can you believe how much Fresh Prince is airing? It's airing for 4-5 hours each night, which is just insane. I guess those rotating mini's of Roseanne and Cosby are gone . . . we just get more Fresh Prince? What could be better (although reading the dictionary would be close behind)
noveelatbk 10-26-2007, 06:30 PM Nick@Nite seems be interested in shows the aired in the after-school slots after cartoons

As Long as it don't replace GL on the schedule, the FP airings won't bother me one bit-lol

Boy, you really like GL, don't you? I could care less whether the show is moved or not. I'd just wish they could give us more variety. Like on some days, they are only airing 3 shows the entire night. They have a whole library of shows that are just collecting dust, and they decide to air only 3 shows. It doesn't make any sense.

I feel the same way with shows like Back to You, Murphy Brown, and The Wonder Years (at least when it was airing on ION). I could watch every episode a thousand times, and I would still laugh out lous at every joke.
USATVFAN 10-28-2007, 02:20 PM I Guess Roseanne And The Cosby Show Are not Doing Very Good Anymore,I Remember The Days When The Cosby Show Was Being Shown 5-6 Times a Night For Almost 2 Years.
George Lopez Might Be Doing Better Then Home Improvement, But We Can Guess Home Improvement Is Doing Very Good Because It Is The First Show Since The Fresh Prince Came On In 2004 That Have Stayed In The Same Timeslot For Almost 2 Months Now.

But with NAN, you never know. I hope it stays, because it's a fresh replacement for Full House. I'd like to see some Roseanne on the schedule still. I really wonder how much better Fresh Prince does than Roseanne.
They need to can Full House at 9 and air an hour of HI, in my opinion. I don't watch N@N, so it doesn't matter to me really though. They should move it back to 8:30....it seems more fitting for the Nickelodeon crowd. I've never cared for that show at all.
