I was wondering if anyone has seen "Across the Universe" or is planning to.
If you have seen it, is it worth seeing?
My friend said it was really good but it's not playing in our theatre because that's just how crappy our mall/movie theatre is!

I really really want to see this movie!!! It looks so good!!!

I saw it and was really disappointed by it. The music is fantastic don't get me wrong but the film is too over ambitious for it's own good. You can just tell it's trying too hard for it. As soon as Bono enters the movie, the film falls off track and never really comes back to how it started. I mean, it's not an awful film, but its a mess plot wise.

I want to! I doubt they'll play it in a little hick town like ours.

Isn't it all Beatles music?

I think that is why it looks interesting because it has The Beatles music in it, Apart from that it looks sh*t.

I saw it and I liked it. I sort of agree with LucyCompanyPhan, or at least I can see where they're are coming from. I thought the movie was very symbolic, touching, and beautifully directed. Granted, it is a little trippy sometimes, but I definitely recommend it.
