Why don't they have a new tv land 2? that way they could show the older shows.

This has been suggested many times but somehow I doubt it will happen.

So that it can turn into the crapfest that the current TVLand is? No thanks.

Except for a few shows like I Love Lucy, Good Times, and Three's Company, TVLand is a joke.

My sentiments exactly, they'd find a way to screw it up.

I don't even WATCH TV LAND anymore; exept for TAGS, Bonanza, and Gunsmoke every once in a while. But at least they're bringing back THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES. Unfortunately; the episodes will be cut to ribbons but, we'll have to make do with them until SOMEONE release the rest of the series on DVD; which; sadly; I doubt will ever happen.

I agree! Too many times TV land is trying some new programming gimmick, which doesn't fly. For example their showing movies that everyone else has already seen a gazillion times!!! Please TV Land!

The reason I came to TV Land was for the old TV sitcoms, not seeing "Aminal House" or "Fletch" or some crappy movie we've seen on TBS, TNT or USA, etc. Stick to the success of 60's and 70's sitcoms.

I would like a TV Land2 for old westerns (Rifleman, Rawhide) or maybe even classics like Green Hornet or Superman. If TV Land insists on showing the ABC show about redoing houses (title escapes me) and movies we've seen 1,000,000,000 times they'll lose viewers!

I don't even have satellite anymore (we cancelled it a few days ago it got so expensive), so I just watch tapes and DVDs, so I don't care what this disaster of a network does anymore. I would hate to see how Viacom would program yet another channel, looking at everything they've destroyed, MTV, VH1, Nick@Nite, TV Land, MTV2, etc.

Maybe on TV Land 2 they could show Mister Ed on that channel. I will be thrilled if they show Mr. Ed on TV Land 2.

If there were to be a TV Land 2, they'd probably just dump all the crappy TV Land originals and the movies on there in order to make room for more crappy TV Land originals and movies on the original TV Land. Therefore, TV Land 2 = Bad Idea, IMO.

I think RTN is going to fill the Classic TV void left by TV Land quite nicely once they are more established and more households have Digital TV.

I think so. I wish my cable company Charter would just drop TVLand for either RTN or American Life.

TV Land isn't doing very well right now so why would they make another on?They need to redo the first one and re organize it.
