This i my FIRST topic I've started here at sitcomsonline.com, and I'd just like to say that it's on a subject that's been an obsession with me lately: A short-lived sitcom called 'Getting By' that starred Telma Hopkins and the late, great Merlin Santana and that aired from 93 - 94. I've been looking for episodes of this serial. But no luck so far. This series has NOT been released on DVD and no cable station near me is playing it. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I never seen the eps that were aired on ABC which was season 1. Only season 2 which was on NBC that aired after Saved by the Bell the College Years on Tuesday Nights

Never understood why ABC didn't renew it--it was a good fit with the rest of the TGIF lineup.

does anyone have any of the first season episodes of getting by?i havent seen them since they originally aired back in 1993 on abc and i would love to see them again.if anyone has episodes please let me know.thankyou
