FRIDAY NIGHTS, we will have movies or sitcom marathons from 7-11pm. Saturdays is a day devoted to sketch comedies. MAD TV, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (in the 90 minute format), and IN LIVING COLOR will be reran throughout the 6 pm-12am slots. Two full hours of MAD TV at 6-8, an hour of IN LIVING COLOR from 8-9, and two full episodes of classic SNL from 9-12. FRIDAY NIGHTS from 11pm-2am are dedicated to THREE STOOGES MARATHONS, and SUNDAYS will just be a smorgasboard of movies, followed by a sitcom, then a movie, followed by a sitcom. SATURDAYS from 7am-6pm, all the shows above mentioned will be presented in their original forms. Examples:
Designing Women: OLD SPOUSES NEVER DIE, THE FIRST DAY OF THE LAST DECADE OF THE ENTIRE 2OTH CENTURY, THEIR FINEST HOUR, THE BIG DESK, and GONE WITH THE WHIM will be presented in their original hour long versions.
Golden Girls: GOLDEN MOMENTS, WE'RE OUTTA HERE, THE PRESIDENT'S COMING, NEVER YELL FIRE..., THE MONKEY SHOW, A MIDWINTER NIGHT'S DREAM and ONE FLEW OUTTA THE CUCKOO'S NEST will all be shown in their original hour long formats
Roseanne: ALL ABOUT ROSEY, INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT
Three's Company: JACK BARES ALL, THE BEST OF...,FRIENDS AND LOVERS
Will and Grace's supersized and hour long shows
Welcome Back Kotter's hour episodes
Empty nests hour episodes
LAW AND ORDER SVU crossover episodes
NYPD BLUE's 90 minute episodes, and Rescue 911's only 90 minute episode.

I would do the editing on each of these programs M-F. The half hour shows can't exceed 22 minutes, and the hour shows can't exceed 44. I can tell you this, all of season 5's Chrissy tags would be left intact. Jack's Dancing would be uncut.

Of course I don't have my own tv station, but this is how I would do it.
