You may want to read, if you haven't already, my reunion ff, it's under the post, Another Reunion FF (please read!). NEway, hope you enjoy!

"The Reunion Sequel"

*in Jo and Rick's hotel bedroom, they're just about to go to Natalie's book signing/lecture. She's been asked to lecture about her book the Facts of Life to the Eastland students and all her friend's are going to see her. Everyone's stayed in Peekskill after the reunion because Blair's getting married in a few weeks. (she's paid for all the hotel expenses)*
Jo: *she's looking in the mirror, admiring her outline, she's about three months pregnant now. She's getting dressed for the lecture, and she's got her slip on. She looks at her slightly swelling tummy when Rick comes in*
Rick: Hey, babe, you getting dressed?
Jo: Yeah. Think I'm showing very much?
Rick: No, not much. *he walks over to her, standing behind her, looking in the mirror, and wraps his arms around her, he sweeps her hair away and kisses her neck, and he rubs her belly with his hands in a circular motion.* Does that feel good?
Jo: *she lays her head back on his shoulder, resting* Yeah.
Rick: Good.
Jo: *she puts her hand to his cheek and kisses it* I think this is going to be a better pregnancy.
Rick: I think so, too.
Jo: I hope so anyway. *they're just about to kiss again when Jamie walks in*
Jamie: Mommy?
Jo: *they move away from each other* What is it, honey?
Jamie: Do I look all right? *she spins around a few times in her new pink dress that Aunt Blair got her*
Rick: You look beautiful, sweetheart!
Jamie: *smiles* Thanks, daddy!
Rick: So beautiful, that I won't be able to concentrate on Natalie's speech! I'll be too busy admiring how pretty you look! *he goes over and picks her up*
Jamie: *smiles at him* I know.
Jo: Oh, dear, my daughter has turned into Blair.
Jamie: *she giggles* Mommy, when are you going to have the baby?
Jo: It's gonna be a while, six months.
Jamie: But, Mommy, I can't wait that long! Tell it to hurry up!
Jo: *smiles* Maybe I'll try that.
Jamie: *Rick puts her down and she runs over and puts her ear up to her mother's belly* I don't hear anything. Can it hear me?
Jo: I'm not sure, maybe you can ask it when it's born.
Jamie: That's a good idea! I'll do that. *Jo smiles over at Rick, "Kids are so cute," she thinks*
Rick: Well, mommy and daddy have to get dressed so why don't you go watch some T.V.
Jo: Or a book would be better. *she nudges Rick*
Rick: But you can't watch a book! *both Jamie and Jo roll their eyes*
Jamie: That was terrible, daddy!
Jo: Bad, bad... Now go READ a book.
Rick: Or watch some T.V.
Jamie: I'll go play on the computer.
Rick: She takes advice so well, don't you think, darling?
Jo: Yeah, right...
Rick: *he starts taking off his pants and shirt and he gets out of the closet one of his nice suits* When does it start again?
Jo: 7
Rick: Oh, then we've got *looks at his watch* plenty of time, it's only 5:30.
Jo: It is? *looks at her bed stand clock* Oh, this one's wrong, I thought it was 6:30.
Rick: Well, what do you wanna do?
Jo: Oh, I don't know, *looks down at her slip and him in his boxers* as long as we're already dressed for it...
Rick: *he grins at her, closes the door, he goes over to her and picks her up. He carries her over to their bed and lays her down gently. He gets on top of her and they start kissing...*

*at Natalie's hotel room, it's a complete mess. She has papers, some crumpled up, some still straight all over the place. She has tons of different outfits laid out everywhere and she doesn't know which one to choose. Tootie is there helping her pick.*
Nat: This one? *she comes out of the bathroom with the sixth outfit she's tried on so far, it's a black suit jacket with matching skirt and a white top*
Tootie: *she walks around her, looking over the outfit* Well, the black and white is classy, but it's overall too dark. You need color.
Nat: Did you like the green dress?
Tootie: Yes, but I think the style is too formal. You want to look nice, but not overdressed. I liked that light blue number you had on about two outfits ago.
Nat: *neurotic* Oh, great, my whole life's is being measured in how many outfits I've tried on!
Tootie: I really liked that one. You should wear it. It's a great color for you- blue and the style is relaxed yet elegant. It says confidence, wit, strength-
Nat: You didn't like the cheetah print with the pink ruffle?
Tootie: Honey, that said individuality at best.
Nat: Okay, let me go put on the blue one again.
Tootie: Okay. *she rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "Nat's so funny," she thinks.*

*an Blair's home*
Blair: *she's on the phone with Robert, her fiancee* So you'll pick me up at 6:45. Okay.
Robert: Yeah, oh, Blair, aren't you excited!
Blair: Yes, I thought Calvin Klein's new fall line was very exciting!
Robert: Oh, you know what I mean.
Blair: *laughs* Yes, I am excited! One week and six days! I can hardly stand it!
Robert: Me either! Well, I'd better get dressed.
Blair: Okay, I'll see you in a half an hour.
Robert: Okay. I love you.
Blair: Love you, too.
Robert: Bye.
Blair: Bye. *she hangs up and smiles. She then goes to her room and starts to get ready*

What do you think so far?

------------------
Jo: Partners? You mean 50-50? Uh, 50-50-50-50-50?
Blair: Good, Jo, we'll let you do the books!

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

And from your two resident off-topic queens, Danielle and I, who are still looking for that 12 step program by the way:

*^*^*~~~God Bless~~~*^*^*

Thanks for all your great replies! And I'm wondering, Max, what did you mean by intriguing? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, lol.

*at Natalie's lecture, people are coming into the auditorium, parents and students, they take a program from the desk right outside the door of the auditorium. They have punch and lemonade at a side table for people to take. Natalie is at the door, greeting everyone as they come, she's got the blue dress on.*
Natalie: *she's nervous about her speech and looks it, too. She says these things to various people as they walk in.* Hi! Glad you could come! I hope you enjoy the lecture! Copies of my book will be available after the lecture, at the signing. *Tootie is the one sitting at the desk handing out the programs*
Tootie: Nat, you don't have to say something to EVERY person.
Nat: Yes, I do. I want every person to feel my personal warmth, my charm, my grace- *another person walks in, she puts her hand up to say, "Hi," and it hits the ladies drink out of her hand* Oh, I'm so sorry!
Lady: *makes a disgusted look at Natalie and heads for the ladies room*
Tootie: Charm? Grace?
Nat: Everyone slips once in a while.
Tootie: *rolls her eyes* Here you go, sir. *as she hands out another program, a handsome man walk up to the desk*
Bill: *he's Natalie's age and has a very warm smile and face, he's quite tall, he has a definite charm and ease to him, despite his broad shoulders and massive frame, his tender heart is immediately apparent.* Natalie!
Nat: *looks at him, doesn't have a clue who he is, puts on a big smile like she knows him* Oh, hi! *Tootie looks at Nat, knowing she doesn't know who he is* So how have you been?
Bill: Good, good. Do you remember me?
Nat: Of course! How could I forget you!
Bill: You haven't got a clue, have you?
Nat: Not a one.
Bill: I'm Bill Newland. I went to Bates, and I dated one of your friends once, but it didn't work out, because I was too busy looking at you.
Nat: *doesn't know what to say* I'm speechless.
Tootie: *looks at Bill* Enjoy it, honey, that doesn't happen very often. *Nat kicks her under the desk* Ouch!
Nat: *glares at Tootie* Don't you love it when people keep their opinions TO THEMSELVES?!
Bill: I'm really excited to hear your speech, Natalie. But I'm even more excited to catch-up with you. *with that he walks into the auditorium*
Nat: Tootie, pinch me. Was I just dreaming? *Tootie pinches her* Ouch! What'd ya do that for?
Tootie: You asked me to pinch you!
Nat; You know that was my neurosis talking!
Tootie: *laughs* Oh, Nat. *just then Blair and Robert show up* Hi, Blair! And Robert!
Blair: Hi, are you nervous, Nat?
Nat: Who me? Nooooooo... *she picks up a program and it starts rattling cause she's shaking*
Robert: You'll be fine.
Blair: Yeah.
Nat: Uhhhhh, Blair, I'm wondering, I need to talk to you and the other girls later, *leans into her* guy stuff...
Blair: Oh, sure, we can talk after the signing.
Nat: Thanks.
Blair: Good luck with your speech! *she and Robert go in the auditorium*
Nat: I remember him now! He went out on a few dates with Sue Ann! He kept looking at me when he was waiting for her to get ready cause he was picking her up on a date. *looks down* I thought he was looking at me cause I was so fat and ugly.
Tootie: Now, Nat, you know none of that is true.
Nat: Well- *just then the Bonner family arrives*
Jo: Hi, guys!
Jamie: *all excited and outgoing* Hi, Aunt Natalie and Aunt Tootie! I can't wait to hear your speech! I love your dress, it's so pretty!
Rick: We don't know what to do or where to turn, we keep trying to get her to come out of her shell.
Tootie: Hi, sweetie!
Jo: How you holding up, Nat?
Nat: Great! *her program is still rattling*
Jo: Well, we can see that...
Nat: How's the baby coming along?
Jo; Good, good, no problems yet...
Rick: *puts his arm around Jo* And we're not going to have any. *she smiles at him*
Nat: I need to talk to you, Jo, after the lecture. All us girls are getting together. I need to talk about something.
Jo: Sure, Nat. Well, do good!
Rick: Well, dear.
Jo: What?
Rick: Do well, Natalie, is the proper way of putting it. Well is an adverb because it modifies a verb, but good is an adjective so it couldn't- *Jo and Jamie walk in the auditorium* Uhhhh.....they love me, they really do, they just have funny ways of showing it. *Tootie and Nat look at each other and shake their heads.*
Tootie: Hey, Nat, they're gonna start soon, so you'd better get in there.
Nat: Okay, thanks for handing out the programs, Tootie.
Tootie: Sure.

Thank you all 4 replying! Here's more!

*inside the auditorium, Natalie is sitting up on the stage in a row with the Eastland staff. She is chatting quietly with some teachers while people are taking their seats. Tootie gets up from her desk, closes the doors and goes over and sits by her husband, Jeff, who is sitting by the Bonners and the soon to be Watersons*
Tootie: *she's just sitting down, in between Jeff on her left (Ha! That rhymes! Oh, man...) and Robert on her right* Natalie's so nervous, I had to help her pick out what she was going to wear.
Blair: *leaning in front of Robert, to Tootie* I know she's gonna be fine.
Robert: Looks like they're starting. *everyone quiets down when the headmaster of Eastland approaches the podium*
Head: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to this very special evening when one of our own, Natalie Green, will be speaking on her new book, the Facts of Life. *everyone claps* Miss Green was an excellent student here and many of our teachers remember her and would like to pay a small tribute to one of the students that we are most proud of. *turns to teacher* Mrs. Lainy? Would you like to go first? *she nods and comes to podium*
Mrs. L: I had Natalie in my sophomore History class. No matter what class she was in, she brought her humor and wit with her, and it often made for quite funny class discussions. *looks at Nat and laughs* I am so proud to see what this fine young lady has done with herself. She has stayed focused on her dreams and turned them into a reality. *faces Nat* Natalie Green, I am so proud of you. *Nat's smiles and mouths "Thank you."*
Mrs. H: Hi, I'm Mrs. Harper. I had Natalie in my junior English class. Though I know she didn't enjoy the Grapes of Wrath as much as I'd hoped, I know she learned from the Joads to keep going and head for your dreams against all odds and whatever obstacles may be faced. *she smiles at Nat and sits down*
Miss J: Hello, I'm Miss Jules, and I was Natalie's Biology teacher. She always had an enthusiasm and optimism no matter what situation faced her: dissecting a frog, taking a test she didn't study for... But seriously, Nat, you made my class much more enjoyable than I ever could, and for that, I'm grateful.
Head: Well, I guess everyone's said what they wanted to say. So, without further adieu, Natalie Green. *everyone claps*
Nat: *she gets up from her chair, approaches the podium with her notes, and smiles at the audience.* As I was preparing for this lecture, I was reminded of how much my friends, who this book is about, mean to me. One was helping me pick out what to wear, one read my speech and critiqued it. I just want to say to those special people, they know who they are: Thank you. *she gathers her notes together and begins speaking* I kept a journal throughout my junior and high school career. I would recommend to each and every one of you to do this. It will help you remember the good times and may bring a smile to your face. It will also help remind you of some of the bad times, so you can look back and be grateful those times have passed. As I was reading over some of my old journals, I got the idea for this book. *she continues with her speech*
Jamie: *turns to her dad, who's on her right, whispers* She doesn't look nervous anymore.
Rick: Nope, she sure doesn't. *he turns to say something to Jo, on his right and notices she has her hand to her belly, rubbing it and is breathing quite deeply. He leans into her whispering* You okay, honey?
Jo: Yeah......fine. *she closes her eyes and grimaces*
Rick: You sure? Remember I'm here. *he takes her hand*
Jo: *she smiles at him* I know......oh.
Rick: What?
Jo: Nothing.
Rick: Jo, don't be a martyr, if you're in pain or something is wrong, tell me.
Jamie: Are you okay, Mommy?
Jo: Yes, honey, I'm fine. *turns to Rick* I'm just feeling a little uneasy, maybe the baby's just......oh. *starts to look happy* I think it's just kicking.
Rick: So everything's okay?
Jo: *looks down at her belly, gives it one last pat, smiles* Yeah.
Rick: Good. *they focus their attention back on Natalie*
Natalie: .....So after organizing my experiences I thought about what the purpose for this book was. As Mrs. Harper taught me in English, every paper/report needs to go beyond the boundaries of the topic. It has to have a universal meaning and application to our lives. That's what separates mediocre writing from extraordinary writing. I began to wonder what this book of memoirs about my life could possibly teach someone. I ended up with this conclusion. Friendship is what it's about. You may go through many romantic relationships, but if you have a core group of friends who accept you with an unconditional love, you can survive anything. As you can read in my book, I went through some hard times in high school. I was sexually assaulted, my father died, among other things, and one thing I am so grateful for was that I had friends to help me through those times. They gave me the advice I didn't want to hear, but I knew was right. They listened to me, even when they were busy. They made the time to talk, even when they needed to be somewhere else. They provided me with wonderful memories I'll never forget, and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. We stuck together through thick and thin, and for each one of them I am eternally grateful. *she continues*
Robert: *leans into Blair, whispering* You girls are lucky to be so close. Not many people have as tight-knit a group of friends as you have.
Blair: I know.
Robert: I hope we can be that close.
Blair: We will. It takes time. We weren't close friends from the time we all met. *thinks of Jo* With some people it took a little warming up to... *she smiles*
Robert: Blair, I want our relationship to be just as deep as the relationships you have with your friends.
Blair: We will. Over time, we'll create memories, and little inside jokes of our own.
Robert: *he takes her hand* I can't wait to get to know you, Blair. I mean REALLY get to know you.
Blair: I can't wait either.
Robert: *he kisses her hand and smiles at her, she smiles back, they turn back to Natalie*
Natalie:...So, in closing, I would like to say one last thing: As you read my book I hope you take one thing from it: Cherish your friends, they will be with you always. Thank you. *everyone applauds loudly*
Head: Thank you so much, Miss Green for being here tonight. We all appreciate it. Right now we're going to have a short break, you can go outside, get some punch, go to the restroom, but be back in ten minutes for the book signing back here. *people start to get up and go to different places. Bill walk up to Natalie*

Well?

So that's what you meant, Max, lol, I wasn't sure, NEway thanks to all you who are replying! Here's more!

Bill: That was a great speech, Natalie.
Nat: Oh, thanks. I try.
Bill: I can't wait to read your book.
Nat: Well, I hope you like it.
Bill: I wonder if I could have a little dinner with the author sometime this week?
Nat: The author? Oh, me?
Bill: *laughs* Yes, that would be you, Nat.
Nat: Uhhhhh....*her heart says, "Go for it!"* I'd love to!
Bill: Great! Is 7:00, tomorrow, I'll pick you up, all right?
Nat: Sure! Great!
Bill: I'll see you then. *he starts to walk away*
Nat: *calling* Aren't you gonna buy a book?
Bill: I already got one. *he shows her the book in his hand*
Nat: Okay, see you tomorrow! *they smile and wave at each other. Nat turns around and mouths, "Yes!"*

*later that night, about ten, Nat, Jo, Blair, and Tootie are at Nat's apartment talking about Bill*
Nat: So, do you guys remember him at all? Any info I should know about? Give me the dirt.
Blair: I remember him going out with Sue Ann, but that's it.
Tootie: Do you know why they stopped dating?
Jo: You never found out? I figured with that bloodhound nose of yours for gossip, that you'd find anything.
Tootie: Well, that was one relationship's details that eluded me.
Nat: Well, *gets a smile on her face* he said that it was because he couldn't take his eyes off me.
Blair: How romantic!
Jo: That's great, Nat! I hope everything works out with him.
Nat: Me, too, although I am still kinda scared to get back in a relationship again.
Blair: Because of Snake?
Nat: Yeah, losing someone you loved so much makes you wary of getting in another relationship and then that happening again.
Jo: You know, Nat, I felt the same way with having another baby, I thought, "Oh, man, here we go again..." but things don't often happen twice.
Nat: I know, Jo. Speaking of the baby, how are you doing?
Jo: Pretty good, during your speech it started kicking.
Blair: Really? Does it hurt when they kick?
Jo: A little, but it's also comforting, I mean it shows that they're alive and well. Why?
Blair: Well, as soon as Robert and I are married, we want to have a baby.
Tootie: That's great, Blair!
Blair: What's happening with your show Tootie?
Tootie: Well, the producers are still editing and writing our pilot, but we should start rehearsing and filming pretty soon.
Nat: Well, guys, I hate to break up the party, but I've got to get to bed early tonight. I have a book signing date early tomorrow over at Eastland.
Tootie: Oh, that's right. There were still so many people who wanted you to sign their book tonight, they had to make another date tomorrow!
Jo: Looks like your book is going over well!
Nat: I'm so thrilled! I just got my first paycheck for the book about a month ago! It's a great feeling, you know? To get paid for doing what you love to do.
Blair: Yeah, well, we'll let you get your sleep, Nat. Bye! *the girls get up from where they were sitting and walk to her door. Jo needs a little help getting up, so Blair helps her.*
Tootie: You sure are getting big!
Jo: I know! And I'm only three months along!
Blair: Do you know what it is yet?
Jo: A baby stupid!
Blair: Oh, you know what I mean.
Jo: I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow and he's going to do an ultrasound and hopefully, we'll find out!
Tootie: That's great! Well, I'll see all you guys soon! *everyone says good bye and goes home*

*at Blair's home, she unlocks the door, waves back at Robert who then drives away, takes off her coat and hangs it in her hall closet. She makes her way to her bedroom and sits down on the bed. She sighs and looks over at a picture of Robert on her bed stand. She smiles*
Blair: *she walks over to the picture and just looks at it* Good, night, Robert. *she puts two fingers to her lips, then puts her fingers to the picture*

*at Tootie's bedroom, she and Jeff are lying in bed*
Jeff: She gave a really good speech, don't you think?
Tootie: It was wonderful. She's always been a great writer.
Jeff: Yeah, Tootie, sometimes.....I.....I feel we aren't that close.
Tootie: What?
Jeff: Well, it just seems to me that you and your friends are really.....well......close. And you always get along-
Tootie: Oh, stop right there, we don't always get along.
Jeff: You don't?
Tootie: No, we have fights every now and then, just like you and I do, but we always make up, just like us.
Jeff: Oh?
Tootie: We just fight when no one's around. *they laugh* We're fine, Jeff. I love you, and that's all that matters.
Jeff: I love you, too. *they kiss, she lays her head on his chest, and they fall asleep*

*at Nat's bedroom, she's looking through her scrapbook to see if maybe Bill's in any pictures. She looks and looks, then stops. He's in one photo with Sue Ann. She's smiling her down home Kansas smile and has her arms around him, squeezing him, and Bill looks uncomfortable. He looks very young and he hasn't filled out as much yet. She laughs a little bit, closes the scrapbook, gets in bed, and goes to sleep with a smile on her face, excited about their date tomorrow.*

*Jo's bedroom, Jo is lying on her back on the bed and Rick is sitting upright on the bed with Jamie on his lap. He's reading her a story. Jo's in an old shirt and pajama bottoms and Rick's in an undershirt and boxers, and Jamie's in a nightshirt.*
Rick: ...and they lived happily ever after. *he shuts the book* Did you like that one?
Jamie: It was.....okay, for the tenth time of hearing it.
Jo: Maybe we can get a different book, once we get some more money together.
Jamie: Okay. How are you feeling, mommy?
Jo: Pretty good, pretty good. It's late, you'd better get to bed.
Jamie: Okay, but I want to check one more time.
Jo: Check for what?
Jamie: If it's moving!
Jo: What?
Jamie: *she pulls her mommy's shirt up a little bit, exposing her swelled belly, she puts her ear up to it* I hear it, mommy, I hear it!
Jo: Yeah, well, remember every time you hear something, I feel it....oh. *she grimaces*
Rick: Everything okay?
Jo: Yeah, this baby is just very.....active. *looks down at her tummy, to the baby* Don't you know that it's bedtime? Oh... *she groans*
Jamie: Did that hurt?
Jo: Yes. *she rubs her belly* You'd better get to bed now, little Missy.
Jamie: *reluctantly* Okay. Goodnight, mommy. *kisses Jo's cheek* Goodnight, daddy. *kisses Rick's cheek* Goodnight, it. *she kisses Jo's tummy*
Rick: Night, baby. *he grabs her before she can get off the bed, she giggles, and he hugs her and cuddles her really close* I love you.
Jamie: I love you, too, daddy. Sleep well. *she leaves their room*
Rick: *he looks over at her belly, he puts his hand to it to see if he can feel something.*
Jo: *she moves his hand where she just felt something* Right here. Oh....did you feel that?
Rick: Yeah. I'm so happy we're having this baby. *he takes her hand in his*
Jo: Me, too.
Rick: *he reaches over and kisses her. He looks down at her belly.* Goodnight, whoever you are. *he kisses her belly* Well, we'd better get some sleep. Tomorrow we're going to the doctor, right?
Jo: Yup. Well, goodnight. *she turns out the light and they fall asleep*

Stay tuned for Nat's date, Blair's wedding and Jo's trip to the Doc! Please reply and tell me what ya think so far!

Wow, thanks to everyone for the great responses! Here's some more!

*the next morning at Blair's house, she's on the phone with her mother*
Blair: So, do you think daddy can make it?
Monica: I keep calling him and reminding him, but I don't think he's really listening, he's always in such a hurry to get to his next board meeting or something...Darling, as much as I lov.....well, respect your father, I wouldn't make any promises.
Blair: *sad* Okay, thanks, mom. I just......don't understand. *gets really angry* I mean it's not like he has to work, but for God's sake, I'm his oldest daughter and I'm getting married for the one and only time in my life!
Monica: *trying to calm her down* I know, dear. That's why I left him, with him it's always been and always will be one thing: work, work, work. He could have ten million dollars right in his hand, and he would still be afraid someone's going to take it or it'll all just disappear somehow.
Blair: I guess we'll never understand him.
Monica: I guess not, but one thing's for sure, I'll be there.
Blair: Thanks, mom.
Monica: So, is he everything you hoped for?
Blair: All that, and more. He's not like daddy at all, he takes time for the people he loves, and he treasures the little moments, not board meetings or anything like that.
Monica: Now, I'm coming the next Saturday, the day before the wedding.
Blair: Okay, you can stay here. I think all my friends are going to give me kind of a bachellorette party. You know, like a sleepover from when we were kids. It's going to be so fun!
Monica: Well, I can't wait for that!
Blair: It's going to be wonderful.
Monica: That's lovely, dear, well, I've got to go, talk to you soon. Bye!
Blair: Bye! *she hangs up the phone smiling, she loves her mother so much, she looks over at picture of her father and loses her smile. She gets up and puts the picture face down, so she doesn't have to look at him.*

*the next afternoon at the doctor, Jo is sitting up on that raised thing. (What is that thing called that you sit up on?) Rick is sitting on one of those side chairs with Jamie on his lap. The doctor is standing up and looking at Jo*
Doc: Well, sounds like everything's going normally, nothing to worry about. Want to do the ultrasound now?
Jo: Yeah. *the doctor starts setting it up*
Jamie: *whispers to Rick* What's a utwasound?
Rick: It lets us see the baby.
Jamie: *excited* We can see it? They can take it out and put it back in?
Rick: No, it doesn't come out just yet, the ultrasound let's us see through mommy and into the baby.
Jamie: Cool!
Doc: *he's got everything set up* Does that feel all right?
Jo: Uh, huh.
Doc: Okay. *he turns everything on and looks up at the screen and starts moving the detector around a little bit so they can see the baby*
Jamie: Is that it?
Jo: Yup, honey that's our baby.
Jamie: Is it that big?
Rick: No, it's blown up for the screen.
Jamie: Oh.
Doc: *looking at the screen* It looks like a boy, Mrs. Bonner. You can see the...*looks over at Jamie, gets embarrassed* the...uhhhhh...male organ.
Jamie: *tugs on her dad's shirt* What's that?
Rick: Uhhhhhh...it's the ummmmm.... *looks over at Jo with a worried look on her face*
Jo: It's a part of a boy's anatomy, like an arm or a leg.
Jamie: But girls have arms and legs, too!
Jo: Don't worry about it, honey, it's not important.
Rick: *sexy grin on his face* Oh, it's not?
Jo: *rolls her eyes* Oh, man...
Jamie: I wish everybody would let me in on the joke!
Rick: We will, one day...
Doc: The fetus looks quite big, and you're quite large, Mrs. Bonner.
Jo: Oh, thanks!
Doc: I mean to only be three months pregnant.
Jo: I thought so, too. I've already felt kicking and everything.
Doc: *confused* You have? The baby shouldn't be kicking until at the earliest five months. It's hardly developed enough or strong enough to.
Rick: Could it be older than we think?
Doc: Possibly. I'll be right back. Let me go review your file, and maybe, we can run another test.
Jo: Okay. *looks at Rick* Maybe it wasn't the time we- *stops herself, looks at Jamie* went to the stork that we thought. Maybe it was an earlier time.
Rick: *laughing at her recovery* Yeah, I guess so.
Jamie: How come you guys keep giving each other funny looks?
Jo: She's so observant isn't she.
Rick: Very. Honey, maybe we can talk about this later.
Jamie: *crosses her arms, mad* I don't even know what we're talking about.
Doc: *he walks back in with her medical folder, he's looked it over* Well, Mrs. Bonner, it's very possible that you aren't three months pregnant, you may in fact be almost six months pregnant. About five months and three weeks to be more precise.
Jo: How can I be sure?
Doc: I knew you'd ask that so we'd like to give you a test. We didn't earlier because you both seemed so sure it was when you....*looks again at Jamie* well, you know.
Jo: Yeah. *Jo and Rick are laughing cause Jamie still has her arms folded and is getting madder and madder*
Jamie: Would somebody please fill me in?! *Jo and Rick laugh and look at each other and smile, Jamie's now really fed up* Sheesh!

I'll post more a little later! How are you liking it?

Calm down there, Max! lol Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm! Here's more!

*that night at Natalie's date, they're having dinner at a very fancy restaurant, Bill's dressed very nicely and so is Nat. They've just finished eating and are waiting for their dessert*
Natalie: Wow, that food was good, wasn't it?
Bill: I don't know, I hadn't noticed. I've been paying too much attention to you. *he smiles at her*
Nat: You know, I really appreciate this, the dinner, your nice comments...
Bill: Nat, I'll be completely honest with you, if you'll be completely honest with me.
Nat: Uhhh...okay. *confused*
Bill: I'm really interested in a serious exclusive romantic relationship with you. I've thought about you all these years too much to mess with chitchat and casual dating.
Nat: Uhhh....I really don't know what to say. What is it about you that makes me speechless?
Bill: *he smiles* I know this is all happening suddenly for you, and I don't want to rush you, but I just wanted to let you know exactly where I stand.
Nat: Well, I appreciate that. I like a man that's honest and says what he feels.
Bill: Well, that's good, because I warn you, I'm an open opinionated person.
Nat: Well, so am I.
Bill: *joking* Ha! We have so much in common!
Nat: *she laughs* Right, right... So tell me about yourself. I really don't know you very much, I mean you've told me where you work, but what are some things you're interested in?
Bill: Well, like you, I love reading and books and literature and the classic plays. Shakespeare, Arthur Miller, Thornton Wilder, Nathaniel Hawthorne, John Steinbeck, Pat Conroy, Pearl S. Buck, Hemingway, Victor Hugo...
Nat: Wow, that's quite a list of authors!
Bill: Wait I'm not done, I've got one more: Natalie Green.
Nat: *playing* Oh, have you read her latest book?
Bill: Yes, I have actually.
Nat: Well, what did you think of it?
Bill: I thought it was wonderful. I loved her uses of imagery, her enchanting use of similes and metaphors and the various symbolic uses of her friends. Overall, it was a beautiful, thoughtful, and engaging glimpse into the interesting life of the author.
Nat: Could you write that down and print that in a newspaper as a review? I'd love to put that in my scrapbook!
Bill: *he laughs* Natalie, I'm really sorry that we're not at the same level. And it's really my fault.
Nat: What do you mean?
Bill: Well, I mean I'm practically ready to marry you with how much I've thought about you over the years and all the time I've had to think about us, even though we weren't really an us, but anyway, from your point of view, we've practically just met. I'm really sorry I didn't call you or write you sooner. You have no idea how much I've thought about you. And Nat, there's something I have to tell you. It wouldn't be fair to you and it wouldn't be honest of me.
Nat: What?
Bill: Well, I'm divorced. I got married very young and it was all a big mistake. Luckily, we didn't have children, so the divorce didn't hurt that many people.
Nat: I'm really sorry to hear that.
Bill: Yeah, she was all wrong for me. She had an itchy-foot, if ya know what I mean. She wanted to go everywhere, parties, foreign countries, anywhere but home. I'm much more of a homebody. I enjoy just reading a book and sitting by a fire with some hot chocolate a lot more than I do parties. Not that I hate parties or anything, I just prefer to treasure and cherish quiet moments with a book or *gestures to Nat* a person. That's one thing that I particularly liked about your book. You wrote about some of the more usual and mundane things in life with such creativity and love that you seem to be the same type of person.
Nat: Well, I am.
Bill: *joking again* We have so much in common!
Nat: *laughs* I guess we do.
Bill: So, Natalie, I need to know, how do you feel about me? *stops himself* Oh, I'm sorry, you hardly know me, what a silly thing to ask. You just have no idea how I've wanted for us to get together.
Nat: No, it's okay. I understand. If you want the truth, I really like you. I mean REALLY like you. It's very soon to make some sort of committment like the one you want, but I would love to have dinner again. Soon.
Bill: You would? That's great! I'll try to go a little slower. Forgive me, I'm just so excited.
Nat: *smiles* That's okay. *they decide to have dinner again the next night, both are very attracted to each other*

*Nat and Bill's next date*
Nat: *they're eating* Bill, since you've been so honest with me, I feel I need to tell you something.
Bill: Go right ahead. What is it?
Nat: This is amazing, I feel so comfortable talking to you. Anyway, I'm kind of scared to get in a relationship again. I just lost, well, not just loss, it was about a year and a half now, but I lost a man who I was very in love with, a man who I was practically ready to marry.
Bill: Nat, I'm so sorry.
Nat: It's okay. I think I'm finally over it. He was in a car crash with a drunk driver and he died instantly.
Bill: Nat, if there's anything I can do, or if you ever want to talk or have a shoulder to cry on, don't hesitate in the least.
Nat: Thanks, I'll remember that. *their relationship is going to go slow and be centered around Natalie's concerns and needs but Bill is happy just to be near her.*

*about a week later, the day before Blair's wedding, Blair picks up the phone and calls Jo*
Jo: Hello? *the word comes out as more of a groan than a greeting*
Blair: You okay, Jo?
Jo: Oh, hi, Blair, I'm just....you know....morning sickness.
Blair: Oooooooo, fun.
Jo: Yeah, right... So what did you want?
Blair: Well, I've been so busy making all the arrangements for the wedding I forgot to choose my maid of honor.
Jo: Oh. You want me to do it?
Blair: No, Madonna's going to be my maid of honor, of course, I meant you!
Jo: *laughs* Sure, Blair.
Blair: Thank you.
Jo: I know.
Blair: Jo, you really mean a lot to me. *with tears welling up in her eyes, she's in essence beginning a new life and she's not sure yet how her friends fit into that life* You've been my best friend, you've been with me through just about everything, and-
Jo: I know, Blair. With best friends, you don't have to say anything.
Blair: *smiles* Okay, I'll see you there tomorrow.
Jo: Yeah.
Blair: Do you need any help picking out a dress?
Jo: No, Blair, that's okay, I've got your dressing extraordinair in training Jamie to help me.
Blair: Okay. Oh, and I was going to ask you, could Jamie be a flower girl?
Jo: Of course.
Blair: Okay, well, I'll see you tomorrow at my wedding! Oh, I love saying that!
Jo: Enjoy it, you can only say it once.
Blair: How true, Jo, how true...well, I'll let you go. Bye!
Jo: Bye!

Okay, I know I said one more post but I promise later tonight I will post the rest. Here's Blair's wedding!

*about an hour before the wedding, Blair is in a small room putting her make-up on and doing her hair. Her mother is helping her*
Blair: Mom, where'd the comb go?
Monica: Here it is, honey.
Blair: Thanks. Oh, I'm nervous.
Monica: That's typical.
Blair: I know. I love him, and I'm not worried about our relationship I'm just worried that I don't trip as I'm walking down the isle. *she brushes out her hair, getting the curls exactly how she wants them*
Monica: You won't. You have Warner genes, remember? Perfection. *she walks up behind Blair and looks at her in the mirror* You look beautiful, Blair.
Blair: Thanks, mom.
Monica: Is there any advice you want, honey? I know I wasn't always there for you when you were younger, but I want to help you in any way I can.
Blair: Mom, don't take this question the wrong way, but I really want to know: how can I make it so that out marriage lasts forever? Please, don't think I'm trying to hurt you by saying this, but I want to know how I can keep our marriage alive, without divorce ever crossing my mind.
Monica: Well, unfortunately there is no rulebook or guide to marriage. Every relationship is different and has different needs, strengths, weaknesses... But I guess, one thing I've learned over the years and through the marriages, is to just keep recommitting yourself to your mate and keep in mind what is most important: your relationship. Marriages often break-up because one loses sight or forgets what is important to them. They become greedy and obsessed with their work, they forget how important their spouse is and cheat... *just then there's a knock on the door, she answers it* Jo!
Jo: I just wanted to let you know that they're getting ready to start.
Monica: Oh, thanks, Jo.
Jo: Sure. You ready to get married, Blair?
Blair: I've been ready all my life.
Monica: Well, I'm going to take my seat. I wish you and Robert all the happiness in the world.
Blair: Thanks, mom.
Jo: *she sits down in a chair* So, you're really getting married.
Blair: Yup.
Jo: Are you sure Robert knows what he's getting into? Is he aware of all your quirks?
Blair: Quirks?
Jo: You know, being the first one at a sale at Bloomingdale's, not being seen in public without a stitch of makeup, taking two hours in the bathroom every morning, sighing...
Blair: Well, I guess he loves me anyway. *everything really starts to sink in, she's going to be a Mrs. and a married woman in a few hours* Jo, I'm getting married! *she starts almost jumping up and down* I'm really getting married!
Jo: I know! I know! *jumps with her as best she can for being six months pregnant, just then there's a knock on the door* I don't know who that could be... *she answers it* Mr. Warner!
Blair: Daddy!
David: Princess! *he hugs her* You look beautiful.
Blair: *looks down* I didn't think you were coming.
David: Would I miss my daughter's wedding?
Blair: Thank you. *they embrace one more time and they all stop because they hear the wedding music playing*
Jo: This is it! *she hugs Blair and walks out and sits next to Rick*
David: I love you, princess.
Blair: I love you, too. *they make their way right outside the door that she and her father will walk through. He smiles at her, and they walks down the isle, she smiles at him and her faith in him is restored, he made it to the most important day of her life. She looks over at Robert who looks very handsome. Both are beaming with love and happiness. They take each other's hand and the minister begins, "We are gathered here today..."

*Tootie and Jeff look at each other, remembering their wedding day, they hold each other's hand just as they had done when they got married. They say a prayer of thanks to God for giving them the gift of everlasting love*

*Natalie and Bill look at each other, thinking about how wonderful it would be to get married, but Natalie wants to go slow and Bill's okay with that. He loves her too much to push her and then lose her in the process*

*Jo and Rick look at each other then look down at her tummy. They smile thinking how blessed they are to have met each other and gotten married and been able to have children.*

*the minister asks each Blair and Robert to take the vows of holy matrimony. They each say, "I do," never having meant anything more in their lives. Their faces could light the universe with how much they radiated. The minister says, "You may now kiss the bride." They embrace in a long kiss that makes everyone clap. They walk down the isle a married couple, with Jamie throwing flowers after them. There is a lavish party after the wedding and everyone congratulates the couple and gives them their gifts. Then Blair and Robert's favorite song starts playing, "Evergreen." The couple starts dancing and everyone admires their love.*

*Blair and Robert's wedding night, she's in the bathroom changing into a nightgown and Bill is in his nice pants but has his shirt off. They're talking through the bathroom door*
Blair: One more time!
Rob: I love you!
Blair: Did somebody say, "Encore!"?
Rob: *he laughs* I love you!
Blair: *she comes out of the bathroom looking more beautiful than she's ever looked*
Rob: Oh, Blair, you look....there aren't words.
Blair: *joking* That bad?
Rob: Blair, you've made me the happiest man alive, and I just wanted to say to you, thank you.
Blair: Robert, I've told you how I grew up with lots of step-fathers and step-sisters and everything, I just wanted to tell you that no matter what happens, no matter what trial we may face, I don't want us ever to get a divorce.
Rob: Blair, this is our wedding night, and you're all ready talking about divorce?
Blair: *laughs* Well, I just wanted to let you know that you're never gonna get rid of me.
Rob: *he laughs, he walks over to her and gently puts his hand to her face, he remembers her apprehension before they were married* You ready?
Blair: Yes. *she kisses him, he puts his arms around her and hugs her tight. She can breath easily in the comfort of his arms. He release the hug and takes her hand, he leads her over to the bed, they lie down and start kissing...*

A little later tonight I'll post the rest with Jo having the baby, so stay tuned! So, what do you think so far?

Okay, I'm in a giving mood, so I'll post the rest now, lol. Here's the conclusion to "The Reunion Sequel." Enjoy!

*it's about three months later and all the couples are out together eating dinner*
Nat: So how is your marriage going?
Blair: Great!
Rob: Better than that. *he puts his arm around her and kisses her cheek, she smiles*
Jo: You must be right for her, I've never seen her so happy. *smiles at Blair*
Blair: Tootie? How's the show coming?
Tootie: Well, the network has made us a mid-season replacement for another show instead of starting us out at the beginning of the season. They haven't approved a script yet for the pilot, but they say that as soon as they do, we'll start filming immediately.
Nat: That's great!
Jamie: Mommy, how are you feeling?
Jo: Fine, honey.
Blair: She keeps asking you that, is something wrong, Jo?
Jo: Everything's fine, she's just very concerned.
Jamie: *very in charge* Now, mommy, you know the doctor said anytime. You're due in two days! *like a martyr* If you're not going to worry about you, then I guess I'll have to!
Jo: *smiling* Now, honey, like I told you I'm fine.
Jamie: That's what you think. *with her nose in the air* I shudder to think what could happen to you if I wasn't here.
Rick: *laughing, his daughter's really getting into this whole pregnancy thing* Now, honey, when the time comes I'm sure mommy will know what to do.
Jamie: I hope so.
Jo: *puts her hand to her stomach* ....oh.....Oh......OH......OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Rick: *camly* Is something wrong?
Nat: Something sure sounds wrong to me!
Rick: Oh, really, Nat, she's always like this. The neighbors have complained, it's been a big mess...
Jo: RICK! I'll kill you!!!!!! Do something!
Rick: *realizes she's in labor* Holy leaping giant chipmunks! She's in labor! *everybody looks at him*
Everyone: *sarcastically* No!
Rick: What am I supposed to do? I don't know what to do!
Jamie: See! I told you it's a good thing I'm here! Aunt Blair, call a hospital. Aunt Natalie, you drive mommy to the hospital. Aunt Tootie, help me get her up. And dad, *looks at him, he's hyperventilating* Breath! In! Out! *everyone starts doing what she says, she smiles and looks at her dad* The things I do for you....

*at the hospital, everyone else is in the waiting room, except for Jo and Rick, she's on the bed pushing with all her might and Rick is holding her hand*
Rick: *quietly* Could you not squeeze my had so hard, darling? It's-
Jo: Could I not squeeze your hand so hard?! I'm in labor and you have the nerve to tell me to not squeeze your hand so hard?!
Rick: I was just kidding, darling.
Doc: A few more good pushes, Mrs. Bonner. Keep going! We're in the home stretch!
Jo: *her faces scrunches up and she takes a deep breath and gives another push*
Rick: *she squeezes his hand even harder, he doesn't say anything but he nearly faints* Doc, I can't take much more of this!
Jo: You can't take much more of this?! YOU can't take much more of this?! What about me?!
Doc: We see a head!
Rick: A head? Our baby's head? Oh, my gosh! *it actually hits him* We're having a baby!
Everyone: *sarcastically* No!

*several hours later, Jo is in her hospital room holding her newborn baby. Rick is sitting as close to the bed as he can, looking down at the little baby, and Jamie is sitting on her bed*
Jo: What should we call him?
Jamie: He looks like a teddy bear!
Jo: He does! Let's name him Teddy.
Rick: That's a great idea, Jamie!
Doc: *poking his head through the door* Mr. and Mrs. Bonner, are you ready for visitors?
Jo: Yes, they can come in. *Tootie and Jeff, Blair and Robert, Natalie and Bill come in*
Blair: Oh, he's beautiful!
Nat: It was a boy? That's great, Jo! Now you have the best of both worlds!
Bill: Right, a boy and a girl.
Rick: *biggest smile on his face* I'm so happy! I'll take him to ball games and teach him football and, oh I love you so much! *kisses Jo*
Jo: I love you, too.
Tootie: I can't wait to have a baby.
Jeff: You want a baby now?
Tootie: Well, not with the show and everything, but we'll talk about it later.
Jeff: Okay.
Robert: *whispers in Blair's ear* Should we tell them?
Blair: Yeah. Guys, we have an announcement to make. The doctor just confirmed it, we're having a baby!
*she and Robert hug, everyone congratulates her. The baby in Jo's arms starts groping around, crying, and opening and shutting its mouth.*
Jo: Well, I know what that means. If you'll excuse us. *everyone leaves except for Rick, she opens her hospital gown a little bit and the baby starts nursing*
Rick: You want me to go?
Jo: No, stay.
Rick: Okay. Jo, I want to tell you how important you and this baby and Jamie are to me.
Jo: I know, Rick. I know you've wanted this baby for a long time, and for once, I think I'm glad I listened to you. *they laugh quietly* I'm so happy for Blair. There's nothing more she's wanted out of life than a husband and kids and now she's going to have both.
Rick: It's wonderful.
Jo: What?
Rick: Life. Human life. *he looks at the baby contentedly nursing and receiving life from its mother.* The life of a child, life with friends and family.
Jo: You're right, it is wonderful. *she looks down at her baby and smiles thinking of what a wonderful life she has, lying right on her. She thinks what wonderful relationships he'll have: with his parents, his friends, when he grows up, his wife...*

*the screen shows them kiss, then goes to Blair and Robert, they're looking through a baby names book, smiling ear to ear. They kiss, then the screen goes to Tootie and Jeff who are sitting at the breakfast table. She's reading the pilot script for her show and they are laughing at one of the jokes in the script. They kiss, then the screen goes to Bill and Natalie. They are sitting on her couch and he gets down on his knee and she puts her hand to her mouth in shock, you can see her saying, "Yes," over and over again and they kiss*

THE END

Now I want everyone's honest opinions. What did you think?

Man what a fanfic! I can state my opinion in one simple phrase It's simple the best better then all the rest. See I read the first page then I had to go to Chruch Camp this last week so I was going nuts waiting to read the rest of this fanfic and know that I did boy it was worth the wait. Great Story keep it up!
