Barbara Eden. What a gem. She is so young and so darn cute in this episode. I love how she talks.

Also, anyone ever notice one of the songs the orchestra plays is the same exact song (and it sounds exactly the same) as the song that played on the radio in the episode where Ethel and Lucy are in that car with the woman they think is the hatchett murdereress.

Ok, let me clairify. In the drive to Florida, Ethel and Lucy are trying to sleep in the car, they have the radio on and the song that is playing right before the announcer talks and right after the announcer talks abt the wanted murdereress, is the song I am referring to. In the Country Club episode, when the ladies are at the table waiting for their husbands to return with food from the buffet, the orchestra begins to play that song. You will recognize it at the moment when Lucy and Ricky are standing there eating.

I so loved Ethel's hairstyle. The "Wet Peckingnese" look. I could hear the audience laughing and I always wondered why they laughed. Am I missing something?

Damn, everytime I see that plate of food Fred brings to Ethel and the camera pans down at it, IT LOOKS SO DARN GOOD! Yummy!

I definitely agree. She comes across as very genuine. I have a friend who is a good friend of hers and can report that she is just geniune and real as she seems. A good person.

Good observation there. I never noticed that before.

I'm not sure what laugh you're referring to. I'll have to pay closer attention next time I see this episode.

I love when my feelings abt someone are correct, and you telling me Barbara is a real genuine lady in person makes me feel good to know my intuitions are correct.

As for the laugh at Ethel, the audience laughs right when she and Grace walk into the Ricardos' home. I always get the feeling the audience is always "laughing at" Ethel, especially since Fred stated she looks like a wet pekingnese with that hair-do.
