I think Brendan's best relationship was with Emily Valentine.

I know everyone is going to think I'm crazy, but aside from the episode when she drugged him, I really enjoyed their connection. i.e. the day they met, first date, San Fran, etc.

I didn't care much for Emily Valentine during the high school years, but post high school, when Brandon went to visit her in San Franciso, it was obvious that she had grown beyond her wilder days, and I really enjoyed the connection that she and Brandon seemed to share at that time.
It was sad when Brandon watched her pull away in the cab.

I also liked Brandon with Kelly, although they could be a tad boring.
