Oh, that is hard. I have so many favorite tv shows I can't choose just one. I will try to choose just one.

Fraiser, it's the hands down, undisputed King of TV ... For me anyway.

Whatever show I'm enjoying at the moment is the best show ever, lol.

My favorite is "NewsRadio", but I'm not bold enough to say it's the best show ever.

OH Nuts!

Yes, picking just one is hard; there are so many fine shows. For me, such a show should have the following qualites: highly original, groundbreaking--decades ahead of its time, clever, and teaches us some important lessons in life--in addition to being highly entertaining. The creme de la creme so to speak. When I think of the best show ever, keeping these attributes in mind, two shows emerge: I Love Lucy and All In The Family. For me it was pretty much a dead heat--I kept going back and forth--finally though, since I have to pick one, I'd say I Love Lucy--the show deftly navigated a new and scary medium, set the gold standard for physical comedy on television, broke ground--Lucy was the first to have a mixed marriage on TV, and by the way, Miss Ball fought very hard for this. It introduced the concept of reruns and kinescope. And while AITF also has many of the same fine qualities--I Love Lucy came first--so doing this was a bit more of feat --so to me, thats why I Love Lucy is the best show ever--with AITF an extremely close 2nd.

(Honorable mentions: The Twilight Zone (3rd!), Bewitched, The Golden Girls, The Jeffersons, The Adv. of O & H-cause its a personal favorite)

Barney Miller. Brilliant writing, amazing acting, incredilble comedic timing, topical and smart humor mixed with a little drama, angst, sadness, and a few well done rants-and they did it all in one room. It was almost more of a stage play than a sitcom. There will never been anything like it again.

That is pretty much the same for me, but I was able to choose one.

Who's the Boss? is my favorite right now though.

This is a tough one. I have so many favorites! I'd have to say The Dick Van Dyke Show but all of my other favorites are definitely a very close second!
