One male brother trio from the Hogan Family and the other female sister trio from Gimme A Break.

I say The Hogan brothers...especially David Hogan. Nice sweaters, Bateman.

I want to have Jason Bateman's wardrobe...really, where I can find a pair of sweaters like that?:)

I'm not sure which were more 80's but since I love Gimme A Break and have never seen a single episode of The Hogan Family, the Kanisky sisters get my vote.

I'm also not sure which were more 80's. I've seen both shows and for me, it's hard to decide. However, since I love Gimme A Break! also, my vote is for the Kanisky sisters.

I voted for the Kanisky sisters as well. Julie's glasses were horribly '80s! Those alone take the cake....Though the Hogan boys wore acid wash jeans, and had mullets at one point....

I especially thought those Christine Diors dresses were really stylish on Kari Michaelson....she almost look like she could have been a runner-up to Lisa Welchel's fashion on FOL.

I agree. Kari looked really good during the later season of GAB. Not as good as Lisa though. :)

Except for Jason Bateman and Danny Ponce...only Jeremy Licht had a mullet during the Sandy Duncan years of 1987-1989. And what a mullet...it practically was business in the front and party in the back! Though I want those crazy ass sweaters they were wearing...

Though Jason Bateman was pretty stylish in those 80s clothing...especially in the made for TV movie, Moving Target, and the bombastic Teen Wolf Too! I need to have a suit and tie that looks like his...:) Some of his clothing was pretty neat, though.

I'll go with Gimme A Break for the simple reason is that the show was in production from 1981-87. It never saw the 1990s, as The Hogan Family did. So by default, I will say the Gimme A Break sisters were more '80s.

My sister likes Jason Bateman's character in Arrested Development and seeing the reruns of the 80s sitcom, Hogan Family, she says "He is way too cute! I wished I had a boyfriend like him!"...This is by seeing the reruns of the Hogan Family on the ABC Family channel. My sister is still waiting to see the 80s sitcom return on ABC Family....she ranks him right next to her favorite, Jonny Depp!
