In Citizens Arrest there is a scene near the end Gomer calls and reports a robbery, Barney refuses to answer the phone so Otis does and goes into a panic.. Great scene....

Otis did something similar in the color episode where Andy was kidnapped by some criminals and Howard Sprague of all people had to come to his aid.

Episode was called "Otis the Deputy".

Yes Otis did like a rehash of the same scene when Andy didn't return on time. That was when the new writers seemed to be rehashing old scripts for ideas
