Enid Blyton was a popular British children's author (she died in 1968.) Her books are still widely read by many British children today (I grew up on them.)

I was wondering if many people knew of her in America? Do they sell her books there? I did see an American version of the Noddy TV programme once, and Enid Blyton is the one who wrote the series of Noddy books.

Most kids in Britain grow up reading her books - she was very prolific during the 1930s, 40s and 50s. She wrote fairy-tale stories, and several series' of books that included gangs of children getting involved in some mystery or adventure.
