LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Sopranos" veteran Lorraine Bracco has joined cable channel Lifetime's pilot "Long Island Confidential."
The project centers on a detective (Alison Elliott) who returns to her Long Island roots and learns that it's hard to escape one's past. Bracco will play the woman's mother.
"Long Island" marks Bracco's first series project since "The Sopranos," in which she played psychiatrist Jennifer Melfi, a role that earned her four Emmy nominations.
