This episode aired day before yesterday and I forgot to post this...

Why didn't they just store the Ricardo's stuff in that big basement we seen a couple of times?

It irks me how Ethel tells Lucy to back-up because she won't be able to find the mustard. How on earth would it be so hard to find in the refrigerator? Besides, Ethel got the wrong mustard, so what purpose did it serve her to get it herself?

Maybe it's just me and I'm too lazy about these things, but if the inconvenience is only going to be for four days, it would seem a lot easier to move the stuff nextdoor to the Mertzes' for those four days than carrying everything down the stairs all the way to the basement, only to have to carry them back up the stairs again to the first floor in a few days when they actually do move.

That's probably why they did it like they did.

Yeah, really! Was the refrigerator such a sty that a housewife like Lucy couldn't possibly find the wrong mustard herself?

I still laugh at Fred's line "Hello, Moby."

I like this episode but it gets on my nerves how she buys everything back, she always complained of her furniture and ricky was going to buy all new stuff from the money from the old, but as soon as she saw the taylors changing the furniture in her old apartment she didnt like it? hey if it was me i wouldnt care id be getting alll new! id understand if it had sentimental value but it musnt of? After all it was a funny episode i guess she just didnt want to see the furniture change.

Maybe putting some of the big stuff like the couch and table in the basement would have been better than having ALL the stuff in the Mertzes' place. It sure would have been better.

And another thing that got me was where did all that stuff come from? I never saw that much stuff in their apartment!

Yeah, it must have been all those souvenirs from Hollywood.

Lucy sure goofed when she could have had all new furniture. I mean, here was Ricky giving in to buying new furniture and Lucy having sentiments abt the old stuff.

That Taylor lady must have loved Asian furniture, she wanted the table painted black and the legs cut off the sofa. That sofa would have been so low to the ground.

Keep in mind, the Mertzes' living room is already furnished, and on top of that, they're putting in all the furniture from the Ricardos' livingroom, bedroom, and Little Ricky's bedroom, plus all the stuff from their closets, which would include that huge chest with the never-ending assortment of costumes.

Also, in the Breaking the Lease episode, when the Ricardos are packing to leave, at the end of the episode you will see many boxes in the Ricardo's living room. And they still have items to put in boxes. So, maybe they didn't pack much in each box so they didn't damage things.
