No excuses, none at all. It is very easy for me to sit here & try to sugarcoat what happened last night. Not having Westbrook, dawkins, sheppard & thomas certainly didn't help things, but Even with Westbrook there last night, i am not sure it would have made a difference.

The giants had a great plan last night, Not having Westbrook makes the eagles a hell of alot easier to game plan against, but the coaching last night for the eagles was beyond putrid. Ok here is what I was thinking sitting in the stands last night. I am watching my left tackle get smoked on almost every single snap, I mean smoked is putting it way to nicely but this is a family board & i want to keep it clean.

My question to myself is this: Why on gods green earth didn't that round green moon pile (andy reid) not make some scheme adjustements to give that dud winston justice a little help. Any moron could see that there was no way he was able to handle osi. A little help from the tight end perhaps? Maybe a shift in line coverage to provide a little help? Well thats what any normal smart coach would do. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what went wrong last night. Almost every single snap last night DMAC had pressure on him right from the get go. IT was a deplorable performace by winston justice, but I am more upset at the coaches for not making the adjustments to give him a little help. My seat last night was on the eagles sideline in the lower level behind the bench. At one point I got up walked down to the edge of the section started screaming at the top of my lungs towards the bench was begging & pleading with the coaches to give the guy a little help. I know what I say means absolutely nothing to them, but I just can't figure out what the hell goes thru reids mind when he is coaching. None of it makes sense to me, it really is an enigma.

On a happier note, The one thing that I am happy about this morning was the play of the defense, anytime you can hold an offense that potent to as few points & yards as they mustered, you think that would be enough.

Once again, no excuses, not having westbrook is not why they lost, if your going to play that card, I do think it would have been a different flow if william thomas had been in there, He has always done well against OSI.

As hard as it is for me to say, I tip my hat to the giants, they had a good plan last night& they executed it perfectly. # 5 didn't have a prayer last night.

Let me say one thing about football games at giants stadium. That place is like a morgue, it really is, hardly any emotion out of the stands at all. My enitre section with the exception of the 2 dozen or so iggle fans along for the ride had better things to do than to be there. I heard not once, twice but three times before the game even started that they were leaving by 1030.... HEH? In all reality..maybe I should have left by 1030, but thats not me I stay to the bitter end hoping beyond hope that something would happen, last night there wasn't a chance in the world of that happening.

The eagles are what there record says they are 1-3. They have looked awful thru 4 games & things could not have gone worse If i scripted it. I never give up & will regroup here & really enjoy the bye week, it comes at a good time, maybe just maybe we can be at 100% when i go back to the meadowlands in 2 weeks.

God it sucks being a diehard fan

Maybe Andy Reid wanted Justice to earn his paycheck and play like a man. Also youmentioned the bye but I'm sure the Eagles are not thrilled to be going into the bye-"THREE GAMES UNDER .500" Again, this is the first time since 1999 the Eagles are 3 or more games under .500 at the bye. I damm sure wouldn't want to wait 2 weeks to play another game if I was on a 1-3 team-lol I would want to play the next ASAP

But MRiggles you still have the Phillies-lol

nfl national east
tOO EARLY TO GIVE UP ON ANYBODY. Dallas has 5 remaining division games. Should be exciting. I'm expecting some cliff hangers,
I'm a Giant fan but I don't dare make any predictions any more. made a couple of real boo boos at beginning of season.
Thoughts on Giant / Eagles game;
Game was closer than score which wasn't outlandish.
Penalties hurt Eagles as much as anything else. flags, flags, flags. I thought, Good grief, these guys are pros, don't they know the rules?
Westbrook wasn't really missed, Buchalter was great. except maybe McNabb would have been more comfortable with him,
