What a funny episode...

Brent is thought to be poor. Hank tells Davis abt Brent supposedly having financial problems. Davis appears at Brent's and sees the big screen television. Kickboxing is obviously something Davis loves.

Oscar and Emma argue over the fact that Emma never puts the top on the sugar bowl. "If it has a lid, then it is not a bowl." Whoa! we see Oscar in the nude! Well, almost. I love how Emma told him abt the bath towels. YOU GO EMMA!!! She sure sounds like me. :D

Lacey and that cheap jewelry she bought. I love how she was talking to Brent abt how she was angry and upset abt the whole deal and we see Brent later thinking abt that whole conversation and he hears Lacey's voice, but it is garbled. It sounded like the teacher talking on Charlie Brown cartoons.

Yeah, i love the part when Brent is selling his old TV, to make room for the giant one, and Hank drives by just in time to see him crying over the dead dog "Mr Scratchy", puts 2 and 2 together, and gets 5!
and when Oscar walks in on Emmas tea Party, naked as a newborn...leaves the room & the old woman with a European accent asks Emma: "Who vas Sheee??" and Emma just chuckles and says "I dont know!"
Say Irene, what did you think of the first ep, "The Brent Effect"?

I tell ya, the memory is shot. I was so enthralled with Poor Brent, that I can't really remember much abt The Brent Effect. I do know it sums up what we were left with on the previous episode I LOVE LACEY, I do remember Lacey talking with Emma asking her opinion on whether Brent finds her attractive.

I loved the scene where Oscar wants to buy an outboard motor and Emma wants a new mixer, Brent then imagines in his head a combination of the two...

Really, Poor Brent sticks out more in my mind than this episode. Poor Brent was FRIGGIN HILARIOUS! :brent

When Brent was talking to Lacey in the end of the episode and now it was her turn to "not hear Brent" talk abt what bothered him! It was all garbled.

Oh yeah, the storyline abt the jewelry was great! Lacey going to all that trouble to try and tell Wanda she ripped her off. And in the end when Wanda handed Lacey the $20 she "ripped off of Lacey", Lacey gives it to Brent for the cuss jar and he in turn gives it back to a smiling Wanda.
:brent

:brent I felt sorry for poor Karen when Davis forced her to put all that money in the curse jar cause she was "the rookie" ( and hes too damn cheap :p )

you mean like:

(Makes you wonder how large Oscar's wrinkly purse was, if the old woman couldnt even tell he was male???? :p )

One of the funniest things to me was just the visual of the giant TV in Brent's TINY living room, and even looking in from the front door, it looks ENORMOUS....I cant imagine sitting 3 feet from it!
