I don't know what's more shocking - the Mets' free fall or the fact that Charlie Manuel is still the Phillies' manager.

I was at the game last night, stayed until the 7th, holding out a little bit of hope, but I knew they weren't gonna win it. Too bad they didnt score some of the runs they scored today in last nights game.

Well they kept their playoffs hopes alive tonight, just making tomorrow more stressful. Mets and Phils are tied again and tomorrow will tell it ALL

I don't get what the deal is with your abject hatred of all Philadelphia sports teams, Solomon, I really don't.

Because the fans in this city are ungrateful and don't derserve a winning team. They are so quick to turn on a player or team after so many good good moments. Mcnabb is the greatest QB in Eagles history and he gets criticized like he is Dante Culpepper. The fans in this city don't derserve to celebrate sh*T

I think that brawl with the Marlins might have awakened a sleeping giant! Fights can sometimes do that. I would love to see a one game playoff. There is nothing like playoff baseball! LOL

Hell no, a one game playoff in dirtydephia on monday with the druken fans screaming and yelling??? No way, If they can I prefer the Mets to win today and have the phils lose and get ready for the playoffs. Even though a mets win in a one game playoff would be something for me to cherish on video, I rather not see that

Fans in this city don't seem to understand that your team doesn't win the SB just because you think it's about time they do, they have to be the best team in the league and show it on the field. Like someone said on Comcastsportsnet, you fans better enjoy these years with Mcnabb because it' not going to last forever

In all honesty, i don't think the Mets would have a chance in a one game playoff

BTW: I just learned on friday that there are no tie breakers in Baseball, which is why there would be a one game playoff if the mets and phils both win today.

I wonder why the game would be played in Philly? I guess they must've one a coin toss or something.

Probably because the Phils won the season series which is why I'm confused as to why the Phils wouldn't just win the NL east if both teams won today and finished tied
