I have no opinion on the whole awards idea, especially on the worst fanfic category. Ok, so maybe I do. I'm not gonna say much, except that maybe you should leave out the worst fanfic category next time, and maybe you should leave the categories open and let peepz vote for any fanfic, not just a certain few that you like. And if you were just going to pick a certain few, base it on the number of replies each person gets, that way you can be a little more fair to everyone. I agree with Blair n' Jo Rock. I'm not trying to be rude or anything. But the next time you decide to make an ward show maybe you should let everybody vote. Not only for the award but for the nominations also. That way it would really be fair.

Awards are by nature a devisive thing. You really aren't going to help the creative environment around here by placing some stories ahead of others.

Imagine the brand-new fan to the board who was thinking of writing their first story and just saw a category entitled "worst fan fiction."

Think they'll still have the nerve to give it a try?

hey I just wanted to voice my opinion and some may not like it but you know what it's got to be said......callmetootie, that was wrong to have the best and worst catagories, cause you know what they were based souly on your opinion and that's not right. And quit fankly, you shouldn't really be commenting because not all your fan-fics were as great as you must think they are. And you must think they're like amazing to make mean catagories to put people down, when maybe you should have re-read yours over again, and you're going to think this is mean but you know what , what comes around goes around, and that wasn't right. Think twice before you comment on other people's work. And I thought that Blair n'Jo Rock, and JoJoJoJoJoJo, and BlairW_1 were very good, and I know callmetootie you're usually very nice, and not outspoken but you were out of line, and you deserve all the negeative feedback you're getting. But think about it, I bet that alot of people were excited over this awards thing before a made the winners, and I said in my e-mail that I would be starting the awards at eight, and that if you replied with votes, then they would be added to my votes, but I would beat out in a tie. If you had replied, then none of this would have happened, and don't say that I posted it too late near 8:00, because it was a while before that. I'am sorry, but it's not all my fault. If anyone except one single person had replied, then we would have had something going here. One vote, makes a tie, which make what I voted for win. If 2 votes had gone to the nomination, that I didn't want to win, then they would have chosen the winner. All that we needed was one more person to vote, and then people wouldn't think that I was such a bad guy. And if you were so upset with the nominations, before I picked the winners, you should have told me to pick some other fan-fic that fits into that category. Guys, you are really good buddies, but I don't seem to be that bad, and if I ever do another contest or award, the replies will be great and nice. Thanks, and once again I'am sorry. ok...for 1) not all of us are obviosly as addicted to this board as you are...we don't check it out every minute of every hour 2) the worst catogory and unfunniest catogorys were just rude! no matter how many people voted...they were just RUDE! If you do do another "award" show maybe you should think more into have catagories like "Most well developed characters" or "most detail" or something like that, i mean, i barely know you and i'm sure your a great guy...but you made a big mistake having this award show thing...but oh well!
