well i will be in my room shaking all weekend watching baseball and football and having my legs crossed and fingers crossed and just hoping I have a reason to smile on monday morning-lol

Working till 3pm then from here im going to my boyfriends house, and the rest of the weekend I am not sure what we are gonna do but i'll keep you all posted.. :wave:

Saturday, I hope to win this Harley. My brother and I are finalists and a reverse drawing will take place to determine the winner. In order to qualify for the drawing, You had to be the 10th caller when the sound of the Harley was played. This was no easy task as the lines were jammed so just getting thru was extremely lucky.

100 finalists will be in the drawing & we have 2 chances to win. Certainly not the best odds but it's better than powerball. I have luck on my side though, I've won over 500 radio station contests since 1977 plus I've won 6 times on Game Show Network but I've never won a drawing.

I'm going to a friend's wedding/reception and church tomorrow. I may go to our church's spaghetti dinner on Sunday.

Tomorrow morning we're going to my husband football game (he coaches), After the game we're going to the State Fair and I'm going to eat eat eat and eat some more.

The weather looks gloomy like it is going to rain. So we shall see what the weekend is like. Right now I am cleaning out my sons drawers and toy stuff and getting rid of things because his birthday is in November and then there is Christmas, so I have to make room for the "new" junk coming in. :lol:

I have to pick up my son at 3pm and then my daughter from work.

I have to go cheer at the game today. Then tomorrow is homecoming.

Hey baseball fans, TJL here.

I'm back in New York after spending yet another week in New Jersey working on some renovations at my brother's house. I pretty much spent the entire month of September there, except for weekends. Good to be back home!

But not for long...

Tomorrow I hop a plane for for my ANNUAL BASEBALL TRIP!

This year my friends and I are travelling to Pittsburgh to see the Pirates play tomorrow night. We have a good group going this year, so things should be lots of fun!

I'll let you know how things were when I return Sunday night.

Well I've been sick all week hopefully I can get better! Today I hung out with my friends today was a really great day! I really don't have much planned for the weekend I hope something fun comes up!

Not doing too much this weekend. I am picking up my parents from the airport as they return from their trip to Italy. I may see my father in law at his apartment, but that is not set in stone.

Just a lot of R and R. It was a BRUTAL week at work & I'm exhausted. I'm going to sleep 12 hrs. tonight, maybe watch one of my new DVDs from J & R (I bought the first 2 seasons of Facts of Life today). Sunday I'm going to a Church Fair and then maybe a little work.

Rich, I take great comfort in the fact that someone else has also had a brutal work week and is wiped out. Let's hope the coming work week is a much better one - for both of us!!

Nothing here on my end - I leave next weekend for a visit to my hometown, so that weekend will be busier than this one. :)

Not much going on this weekend. I just got some bad news yesterday--one of my friends from high school (Charlie....we did plays together and hung out a lot outside of school as well) was killed in a car accident on Thursday night. I'm still in shock.

I really just have work on the agenda for this weekend. Homework, house work, job work, lol. Not exciting.

Jen - yucky to that! When I had my wisdom teeth pulled in January, I had to be at the facial surgery center at like 7 in the morning (my surgery was at 8 in the morning). I thought - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early for a doc's appt. :barf:

Hang in there - I'm sure you'll be feeling better after the surgery. I know I would be nervous if I was in your shoes too, because that's a pretty important body part to be fussing with.

I just got back from the wedding reception and guess who caught the bouquet? :D This is actually the second bouquet I've caught (the first one was at my sister's wedding reception in 2003), but I don't have a fella. :( Hopefully, things will turn around.

No, I didn't even attend my Brother's weddings.

Thanks to everyone for their sympathies. I'll probably be going to the wake either Monday or Tuesday night (most likely Tuesday). I hope I can handle this.

Holy cow what a great time. Pittsburgh is a great city. We loved PNC Park, truly one of the best stadiums we have ever been to.

We drank plenty of Iron City beer (and I C Light) and ate tons of bad food.

This afternoon we went to a barbeque at our friend Lane's childhood home in Penn Hills (a suburb of Pittsburgh). His Mom and Dad were extremely kind.

Jet Blue was awesome, the TV's in the seats were really cool.

Danielle is the best waitress at the Sports Rock Cafe where we hung out at yesterday afternoon and late last night during our barhopping after the game.

Go Steelers!

That sounds sooooooo coooool TJL. I am jealous. I hear that PNC park is a beautiful stadium. It is a shame that the Pirates are a lousy team. I would really like to catch a game at Fenway. That must be some experience.

It was the last game of the season for the Pirates and a local band played after the game.

I think more people were there to see the band play then watch the Pirates.
