Corolla 09-28-2007, 10:20 AM Not like you can actually trust anything the National Enquirer publishes... but;

Memorial Ride
The memorial ride for Officer Quinn Witherspoon took place for the third year in a row this weekend.
CONCORD -- Two years ago, Concord Police Officer Quinn Witherspoon died an untimely death. Saturday, his friends and family gathered to not only honor his memory, but also to help his three children and the children of other officers.
"It started as a way to raise money for his children,” said Dana Nance of the Witherspoon memorial. “Now we've expanded … now we're raising money for Concord police officers and Cabarrus
Quinn Witherspoon County deputies and their children should they have an untimely death."
Attendees released balloons in honor of Witherspoon’s life, and though they were full of emotion, took off on a ride throughout Cabarrus County, taking comfort in the fact that they were riding with a purpose.
The memorial fund holds several fundraisers throughout the year. The next one will be a golf tournament on November.

Mikado 09-29-2007, 05:05 PM The most sickening part to me is that the victim was a Police Officer, puting his life on the line for the public, and to die because his wife was a selfish idiot, that is just unforgiveable! :mad:

Exactly! He worked hard for his money and he dealt with a job that so many criticize, but he did it and I am sure he did it well. Then, to have his life not be snuffed out by some drug dealer or some felon fleeing the law, but BY HIS WIFE, the one person he thought he could trust. :mad: :mad: :mad:

To do anything while a person is asleep is the ultimate in cowardice. Face up to your sh*t it like a human being. Rot in hell, b*tch! F-U.
Thank you police, firefighters, paramedics and nurses. We couldn't live without you, yet many spit in your faces.
