the celebration was a little too much. Pouring champange on joe torre and then joe torre crying??? Isn't that a world series win celebration? They haven't even started playing in the postseason and joe toree is crying???
Like the boss said last night-"HE WANTS A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP" and nothing less

I kind of agree. Although, the majority of the craziness was from the younger players. For them, it was their first post season celebration. As for Torre crying, the guy is like Dick Vermiel and cries about anything. lol

  :brent You guys are hilarious. All that celebration needed was Tom Hanks storming in and yelling: "There is no crying in baseball!!"

I love Tom Hank's line in the movie, A League of Their Own: "There's no crying in baseball!"
My husband laughs because he knows that there's PLENTY of crying in baseball. Tears of joy and tears of sadness.

Here in Cleveland, we've had PLENTY of tears when it comes to Indians baseball...mostly sad ones, though.
