I'll watch it this weekend. Ratings were pretty good for it though.

The pilot was okay, but i wasn't really blown away. For some reason, the plot seems a bit done to death.

Regular person gets powers he/she doesn't want can't understand/must come to grips with and must adjust to a new life.

The show seems like a spinoff of Heroes.

The effects were cool, and having Katee Sackoff as the bad bionic girl was a great casting choice.

Actually, if she was the star of the show, I would have liked it more.

well; never judge a show by its first 3 or 4 episodes.

I liked the original better ... but I could say that about virtually every remake
that I've ever seen. Hollywood keeps doing
remakes because they've run out of fresh ideas.

Just like Scifi Channel's Battlestar Galactica, this show really isn't a "remake." It's more of a "reimagining." They took a small bit of the outline for the older shows, and made it their own. So in all, they really didn't "run out of ideas." They just branched out from the original cheese fest.

Just to let everyone know, there's 2 Bionic Woman threads...Is there a mod we can inform about this, so they can conjoin the threads?
