I was watching yesterday's episode about when Ward gets Wally and Eddie jobs at the dairy. Eddie got unknowingly roped into helping his boss steal ice cream. Ward and June found ice cream in their freezer and jumped to conclusions that Wally was involved.
It was at this point I had to leave for work. Can anyone fill me in on how it ended? I was really sorry that I had to leave right then!
Thanks.
Ward confronts Wally, who tells him that Eddie brought the ice cream over and that the foreman gave it to him. Ward tells Wally that an investigation is going on and if it's the foreman who is stealing those cartons he should be caught shortly. He tells Wally when he goes back to work to tell Eddie "don't take anything from anybody." Then at work Wally tells Eddie that, but expectedly Eddie won't listen and tells Wally he must be jealous of how he (Eddie) is "getting in good with the boss." Then the foreman tells Eddie to load some more boxes into his car, and Mr. Warden, the manager, sees him and questions Eddie. The foreman comes up and says, "What are you doing, Haskell? I told you to load the truck!" Mr. Warden takes Eddie into the office with him and Wally sees what's going on and insists on going, too. The foreman's assistant comes up and says "I told you that Haskell kid was stupid." The foreman replies, "Yeah, but I didn't know any kid could be that stupid." We don't see anything else at the plant, but then at the Cleaver dinner table, Wally tells how Mr. Warden figured everything out after he and Eddie told everything they knew, so they still have their jobs there. At the tag scene, Wally gets a call from Mary Ellen, wanting to go to a show, and somewhere else. Wally says, "I guess that's okay." He hangs up the phone and June asks him if he is going to be out late and he says, "I hope not; I'm not staying there any later than I have to." "Staying where?" asked June. "The ice cream parlor," replied Wally.

Thanks, TDR. I hated to miss the end! That was a funny tag, too. Maybe they will show it again on the LITB marathon this weekend.
