Watched the pilot for Cane tonight - I Love this show. Great stuff.

I watched it too. I was going back and forth with Dancing With the Stars. Cane reminded me of a little bit of the Godfather movies and DALLAS the CBS series. Great stuff.

How did it do in the ratings?

Pretty decent. Cane did 11.1 million, by far the best of the new series so far. That will change after tonight though when Dirty Sexy Money and Private Practice premiere.

The one thing that was concerning was that at 10:30pm the show dropped 7% from 10pm and also 7% in 18-49. And it was on par with Smith's premiere last year, with an edge in HH/viewers, but not in 18-49.

I thought it was a great show. Good casting and such. Of all of the shows that have been touted as "the new Dallas" and "the new Dynasty," this was the one that reminded me the most of those shows. I guess I'll watch "Dirty Sexy Money," but I doubt it'll be good. I'm sure it'll be just another throw-together drama from ABC.

I didn't watch it, but I so agree about the title. It's just plain stupid. I like Cane's title, though. It reminds me of Dynasty's original title: "Oil."
