The only marathon that would be worthwhile is if they'd show all 234 episodes in consecutive order from 1 to 234. It would be awesome if they did that. For example, they could have a 12 hour block each day where they air Leave It To Beaver. With 24 shows a day they would have the whole series done in 10 days. Episodes 1 to 24 on the first day, eps 25 to 48 on the second day, and so forth. That would be a true marathon, that's what they should do.

Yeah that would be great... But I need to make sure my DVR is empty when the marathon happens... man... gonna be lots of shows.... I will even tape the new episodes of Without a Trace and CSI: Investigations on the regular channel instead of HD cause HD recording takes up alot of recording space..

I'm interested in seeing that original pilot too. It's not going to be better with different actors, but as a fan of the show it will be great to be able to see it and appreciate the fine job the regular cast did. :)

And when ,if ever, are they going to come out with the new house/Universal City Studios shows (seasons 3,4,5,and 6)out on DVD?Some of those are FAR better than the first two season episodes, and has anyone noticed that they are NOT going to show new house such episodes as "In the Soup",or "The Mustache?",or,besides "Family Scrapbook"which is the last show of the series, any of the episodes from the last two seasons(1961-1962 and 1962-1963)

Checking the marathon schedule, I noticed that TV Land will be airing season 5 & 6 episodes from 4:30 - 10:30 Sunday morning ET, including a rerun of "Family Scrapbook" at 10:00. BTW, I noticed that the eps rerun Saturday night between airings of the pilot were most of the eps whose clips were shown in "Family Scrapbook". The one ep from "Family Scrapbook" that wasn't rerun was "Eddie's Girl", which curiously enough is the one ep that tv.com's summary of "Family Scrapbook" left out. It's likely that someone from TV Land, when setting up the marathon schedule, used that ep's tv.com summary to choose the eps to be rerun Saturday night as a cross-section of the series, though the eps were only from seasons 1-3.
