One month ago today was the last time that I got a response to my thread titled "Samanth's Protest". In this thread I tired to take an unofficial poll. Unfortunately, I only managed to get "one" response to the question that I raised! I am thinking that maybe now, that people seem to by posting more on this page, this poll deserves a second chance. I figure that, rather than drag that post all the way back to the top, it would be easier to just raise the question all over again. The issue that I would like responses to is whether in the episode titled "Samantha's Protest" Katie deserved to have her bubble bursted by Samantha at the end of the episode. For those of you who do not remember the episode in general and the bubble bursting in particular, you can go to my thread of the same name as the episode title. I feel that I did a pretty decent job of describing the episode and so did the one female poster who answered this question. Both she and I feel that it was "great" to see Katie's bubble bursted at the end of the story! To start with, it was "very" egotistical for Katie to talk herself into believing that the handsome guy that she and Julie passed on their walk was whistleing at her! On top of this, she really embarrassed Julie at the protest by acting in a way that was, in Julie's words, "disgusting"! I thought that after the made theme of the episode was dealt with, for Katie to learn that the handsome boy who had made her salivate was taking "Samantha" to a movie the next day was "excelent" comic relief to end the episode with! What do other fans think? Also, if anyone is especially interested in bubble bursting, I just posted a message on the "Brady Bunch" page of this site in which Cindy's bubble was bursted in a very similar manner to the way that Katie's was in this episode. The thread that I started on this site was called "Mistakes". You would have to read the post to understand why I gave the thread this title or how Cindy's bubble was bursted. I will probably be checking both that thread and this one tonight to see if I have any responces to either one!
